Dakota Johnson’s Low-Cut Jil Sander Bra Top Is as Tiny as It Gets for Vogue

Dakota Johnson is currently fronting the October 2026 issue of Vogue. The accompanying editorial is proving just as striking as her cover look. One black-and-white image from the story shows Johnson in a teeny tiny, low-cut, dramatically cropped Jil Sander bra top. She paired this striking piece with a voluminous, floor-length skirt.

Dakota Johnson stuns in tiny low-cut Jil Sander bra top and skirt for Vogue

Dakota Johnson’s monochrome Jil Sander moment steals the spotlight in her Vogue cover story with her tiny low-cut bra top. The top in question is the Silk Faille Top in black, a wool and silk bandeau style featuring a front fold, an open back, and adjustable thin straps.

Cropped high above the waist, the piece left Johnson’s entire midriff exposed, with the boxy, structured shape sitting close to the body despite its minimal coverage. The top retails for $650 and is lined in viscose, blending 66 percent wool with 34 percent silk.

Beneath it, Johnson wore the label’s Lightweight Taffeta Skirt in black, a high-waisted, floor-sweeping style with an asymmetrical front opening that bared glimpses of leg as she moved. Priced at $2,690, the voluminous polyester taffeta skirt features a center-back zip and side-seam pockets. The dramatic fullness creates a sharp contrast against the cropped, body-skimming top above it.

Both pieces come from Jil Sander’s Fall 2026 collection, designed by the house’s creative director, Simone Bellotti. The editorial was shot by photographer Larissa Hofmann, with Tonne Goodman handling styling for the story.

For the shot, Johnson wore her dark hair down with a soft fringe. She kept her makeup minimal to let the stark black-and-white styling and dramatic silhouette carry the image. Fans quickly reacted to the look online, with one follower simply captioning a repost of the image “wow.”

This marks yet another major magazine cover for Johnson, following her November 2025 Vogue Germany cover. With her upcoming role in “Verity” also on the horizon, her fashion presence has remained as prominent as her acting slate this year.
