Netflix has officially announced that they have renewed their hit YA drama Crew Girl for season 2. This news comes immediately in the wake of the streamer releasing their weekly global chart of their Top 10 most-watched English-language series. During its second week on the platform, Crew Girl earned more than twice as many views, with 11.3 million viewers tuning in as opposed to the 5.2 million that watched during week one.
Below, see the official announcement video that was shared on Instagram by both Netflix and the show’s star, Miku Martineau. The playful video features Martineau “manifesting” season 2 of the series while clips of her co-stars Samuel Braun and Kyle Clark are superimposed over her praying hands. She then flashes two peace signs at the camera as the caption switches to “just kidding we are already renewed!“
