Morrisons has announced the launch of a service that will benefit millions of Brits in the upcoming months. The supermarket‘s annual flu jab service has started, with its pharmacies offering free NHS jabs to those eligible. It comes as the UK moves into the colder period of the year, with more and more people at risk of catching the contagious infection.
Eligible individiuals include those over 65, pregnant women and those with clincial health risks. However, those who are not eligible for the free NHS jabs are still able to get one. The vaccination costs £16.50 but customers signed up to the Morrisons More Card loyalty scheme can get it for at a discounted price of £13 by scanning their membership cards at the Pharmacy checkout.
John Parry, head of pharmacy at Morrisons, said: “We’re here to support the health and wellbeing of our customers, helping them stay protected throughout flu season with our good, honest value. Our pharmacies offer a convenient way for customers to get their flu jab, and we’re committed to making vaccination as accessible as possible.

Walk-in appointments are offered at participating Morrison pharamcies, and appointments can be made via the phone.
