While it may be a year away, Jet2 have already put more than 800,000 seats on sale to 15 European cities for winter 2027, giving customers the chance to get next year’s Christmas market breaks in the diary early. The airline will operate 82 routes from 13 UK airport bases, including 48 routes specifically timed to give customers the chance to experience some of Europe’s most-loved Christmas markets.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “Holidays to visit Christmas markets are always a firm favourite with our customers. We have responded by putting more than 800,000 seats on sale across 82 routes for Winter 27/28, giving customers plenty of choice and flexibility when travelling from 13 of our UK airport bases. By putting the programme on sale now, customers can get their festive plans in the diary early and look forward to a fantastic getaway next winter.”
Customers will be able to book short trips, long weekends, and other festive getaways for the 2027 festive season, perfect for those wanting to get their holidays booked in advance.
Ryanair have launched new flights for the 2026-2027 season, including to Rome, Tirana, and Warsaw. While EasyJet have announced some longer routes, with travellers able to jet off to Iceland, Morocco, or Egypt for festive getaways.
Similarly, TUI has announced flights from London Gatwick to Athens, Djerba, Mytilene (Lesbos), and Seville, among others
