Prince William has shared his love for Christopher Nolan‘s movies. During a surprise appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the Prince of Wales talked about his favorite films and how he likes to relax. He also revealed which television show keeps Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis glued to the screen.
Prince William admits he’s a ‘big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does’
Prince William recently joined Graham Norton for a chat about movies, family life, and his interests outside royal duties. The Prince of Wales revealed that he enjoys films that challenge him to think.
As per Variety, William said he often turns to music and movies to relax. “I love getting immersed in deep-thinking films,” he told Norton.
Christopher Nolan is among his favorite filmmakers. “I’m a big fan of everything Christopher Nolan does,” William admitted. He also praised “The Dark Knight” trilogy for its dark themes and storytelling. He loves how Nolan takes unusual ideas and makes them entertaining.
William’s television preferences are just as interesting. He revealed that Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis love watching The Traitors with him. “I love it, the family love it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly,” he said.
The royal also recalled a funny encounter with Celebrity Traitors contestant Ross Kemp. After watching the show’s first episode, William met Kemp and tried to see how he would react. The actor apparently got quite nervous. The two also crossed paths during a royal engagement in Somerset.
William then shared some of his childhood dreams. He once wanted to become a police officer before developing an interest in becoming a DJ. However, he admitted that his DJ skills weren’t particularly good.
Cate Blanchett, Hannah Waddingham, and Robert Irwin also joined Norton for the episode, which highlighted the Earthshot Prize. William’s appearance gave viewers a chance to hear about his family’s favorite television shows and his love for Nolan’s movies.
