Dow futures tick higher following negative session By Investing.com

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures were trading slightly higher during Tuesday night trade, following a negative session for major benchmark averages.

By 6:20pm ET (10:20pm GMT) , and were up by 0.1% apiece.

Ahead in Wednesday’s trade, investors will be monitoring , while companies including Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:), Paychex Inc (NASDAQ:), Jefferies Financial Group Inc (NYSE:) and Concentrix Corp (NASDAQ:) are scheduled to report quarterly earnings results.

During Tuesday’s regular session, the dropped 388 points or 1.1% to 33,618.9, the lost 63.9 points or 1.5% to 4,273.5 and the lost 207.7 points or 1.6% to 13,063.6.

On the data front, both and came in below analyst expectations as higher borrowing costs weighed on housing market activity.

On the bond markets, rates held near 16-year highs of 4.55%.
