Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is now in “advanced talks” to distribute directly to AMC Theatres, according to Variety. “The project is eyeing a Dec. 1 wide release, added insiders,” the report reveals.
This deal between Beyoncé and AMC follows in the footsteps of another major music icon, Taylor Swift, whose movie Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is all set to debut on October 13, 2023. Swift’s concert film has already demonstrated the popularity that will come from this type of project, as Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was met with huge ticket demand, amassing a record $37 million in its first day of pre-sales in the United States.
