The Fear the Walking Dead season 8 premiere revealed Morgan and Grace are now working for PADRE, the mysterious community that has been raising Mo for the last seven years. The fate of every other core survivor was still unknown by the end of the episode.
Now, The Walking Dead has released a new clip from Fear the Walking Dead season 8, episode 2, which sees June in a standoff with a man looking for his daughter.
The man, whose name is Adrien, wants June to help him find his daughter, who was taken by PADRE five years ago. June doesn’t seem keen on helping, but her allegiance remains a mystery.
What Happened To Other Fear The Walking Dead Survivors?
June’s survival in Fear the Walking Dead season 8 was previously confirmed through promotional materials. The latest Fear the Walking Dead season 8 trailer indicates Dwight, Sherry, and Daniel are also alive and in the same area as PADRE’s island. However, it’s unclear if they’ve allied with PADRE like Morgan and Grace did, or if they’re planning to fight back as the trailer teases.
While some Fear the Walking Dead survivors will appear in season 8, there are others who haven’t been accounted for. This includes Luciana, Charlie, and Victor Strand, prominent characters who appear to be missing from Fear the Walking Dead season 8 promotional materials. However, since Luciana and Victor survived through Fear the Walking Dead season 8, they will likely appear at later points in the show.
As for Charlie, she was last seen diagnosed with radiation poisoning in Fear the Walking Dead season 7, meaning she likely didn’t survive the time jump between then and season 8. Losses within the group may also point to why Morgan sprayed graffiti on the walls of a house in a swamp. While not every character’s fate has been confirmed yet, Fear the Walking Dead season 8 still has plenty of time to explore what happened to everyone and their relationships for or against PADRE.
