Vanderpump Rules is gearing up to enter a new era with an entirely new cast, and no one really knows what to expect. When looking at the show’s history, Ariana Madix will go down in history as one of the easiest SURver to root for. Ariana went through it all, most notably the Scandoval fiasco, and came out on top. It’ll be hard for the newbies to follow in her footsteps.
Ariana isn’t phased to be moving on from her time on Pump Rules. She’s ready to embrace the revamped cast from the sidelines. During a recent appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, she gave some advice to the new cast before their debut.

The former VPR star shared with Extra TV that she’s “excited to see” how the new cast embraces the challenges of the spotlight regardless of what comes their way. “It’s such a hard thing to do, I think, to put yourself out there,” she said. “They have a tough road ahead of them … Anybody, I think, who’s done that has lived that, and I think they’ll be great. They’ll have fun.” That sounds like more of a warning than congratulations, but you can’t blame her after what she’s been through.
Later, Ariana reflected on her time on Vanderpump Rules, which could provide more insight into what the new cast might expect. “I’ve learned to trust myself. I’ve also learned to trust my gut more and I think I’ve learned that I can do things that are hard in life,” Ariana said. And that’s on that.
