The most wonderful time of the year is still a month or so away, but you know how it goes — just as Halloween fades into November, society puts down the bats and ghosts and start singing carols. It’s the time when we collectively start watching some of the best Christmas movies like Home Alone or The Grinch over and over again, but also a time to discover new titles that can join the annual tradition. And The Christmas Classic could be one of them.

Quiver Distribution has released the first full trailer for the film, which also stars Amy Smart, Ryan Hansen, and Austin Nichols, and is directed by Shane Dax Taylor who also wrote the script with Austin Nichols:

The Christmas Classic, like most Christmas movies, is about love, family, friendship, and an important lesson that the protagonist must learn during one of the most emotional times of the year. But of course, all mixed with a lot of fun and romance. Check out the official synopsis:

“The Christmas Classic follows Elizabeth Bird (Malin Akerman) home for the holidays where she has been sent by her boss to buy the small, rundown local ski resort, Ski Alto. She hopes to close the deal and leave the same day, avoiding her oddball family, but she accidentally bumps into her sister, Lynn Flynn (Amy Smart) and is forced to stay through Christmas. She meets Randy Collins (Ryan Hansen) and is charmed by him and the small town she thought she hated. She finds herself in a dilemma. Should she marry her rich, trust fund, controlling fiancé? Or find something happy and healthier back home, surrounded by love and family?”
