Everything changed when Garcelle Beauvais entered the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills world in 2020. The Coming to America actor was the first Black cast member on the franchise. When Garcelle was cast onto the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills scene for Season 10, she made a mark. She had no problem asking some of the hard-hitting questions. But perhaps one of the best moments from Season 10 was when Garcelle bluntly asked the Georgia Peach where she got her money from. The two ladies were at dinner, matching in red. Garcelle went in for the kill.
She noted, “The way I was brought up, you don’t ask about money, but I want to know how did you get your money?” Sutton Stracke was a bit stunned when Garcelle asked, “Did you inherit money? Did you marry money? Were you born with money? Like I’m curious.” Thanks to Garcelle, all the tea on Sutton’s finances was poured.
Garcelle Beauvais leaving RHOBH won’t damper fans’ memories
I’ve always thought Garcelle had a wicked sense of humor. It’s a bit dry and sassy, two of the best components to have. In her second year on the reality TV show, Garcelle gave fans a peek into her apartment. The Season 11 scene was exciting as it gave viewers a chance to get to know Garcelle that much better. Garcelle welcomed Dorit Kemsley into her home and made quite the entrance down her black staircase. The actor took Dorit’s breath away in a stunning Chanel sweater accompanied by a red lip. But that wasn’t the only memorable introduction.
Upon starting the tour, Garcelle points to her goldfish, saying, “Can I introduce you? The black and white one is Dorit because look at her. Fabulous style. The regular goldfish is Kyle.” Kyle Richards, the goldfish, seemed to fall short of the fashionable style the Halloween actress has become well known for. In her confessional, Garcelle chuckled, “Why is Kyle a goldfish? It’s ordinary.”
Erika Jayne won’t be missing Garcelle Beauvais
Erika Jayne and Garcelle have always had a tempestuous friendship. But Season 12 really showed the duo butting heads. The two kept clashing on everything and anything. However, their issues reached a major boiling point during a cast dinner. Erika had been through the wringer with her divorce from Tom Girardi and decided to accuse Garcelle of trying to make her look bad. The mother of three had simply asked if the Pretty Mess singer was doing okay.
But the question triggered Erika into quite a heated response. Thankfully, Garcelle was prepared with a quick quip. She told the blonde, “Erika, I don’t have to make you look bad. You can do that on your own. You having a problem doesn’t change my life in any way,” the star added.

I’ve never rooted for a wealthy person more to buy a Birkin. But when Garcelle threw a Birkin party for the ladies, I was so happy to see that she treated herself, too. For the entire get-together, Garcelle debated on whether to splash the cash on the high-end designer. Cristos, the luxury reseller, came prepared to show off some of the finest bags. There was an array of colors, including a green one Kyle made sure to snag. I laughed out loud at Garcelle’s first take. She noted, “I’m fascinated by the love of Birkins. And I don’t have one. I got kids that have to go to college. It just seems like a lot for a bag. Does it come with money in it?
Garcelle Beauvais Season 14 moments
Garcelle always makes sure to get her point across. And Season 14 is no different. One of her best scenes so far was when she visited Sutton’s mother, Reba, in Georgia. After years of hearing about how Sutton just wanted to feel loved, Garcelle took it upon herself to confront Reba. However, the chat didn’t go exactly as she had hoped. During the conversation, Garcelle crossed a line when she told Reba that she should express her emotions more. Sutton’s mom noted, “You have no clue.” Garcelle took the response and just explained she was standing up for her friend.
The other moment during this season was when Garcelle actually showed annoyance with Sutton. For years, Kyle has left the socialite out to dry, and Sutton never called her out. However, Garcelle stood her ground and explained why she was upset with her friend. It is rare to have honest moments like this between the stars of the franchise.
