Thunderbolts* is receiving a major marketing push from Marvel Studios as of late, especially after the main cast was confirmed to return in Avengers: Doomsday next year. The upcoming MCU film has been hailed as a big-budget, A24-esque action flick, and while that remains to be seen, fans have gotten several exciting glimpses of the film’s canon-breaking antagonist. Sentry, played by Bill Pullman, has long been considered an Avengers-level threat, but now, Marvel Studios has confirmed he’s even more powerful than that.
The latest preview for Thunderbolts* reveals our best look yet at Sentry, the powerful villain that will be terrorizing the titular team. As Val states, he is “stronger than the Avengers rolled into one,” and he will soon be considered Earth’s mightiest hero. Check out the TV spot below:
