Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 1.86% or 460.00 points to trade at 25,210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) added 0.57% or 60.00 points to end at 10,630.00 and Nova (TASE:) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 49,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 3.57% or 169.00 points to trade at 4,561.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.23% or 121.00 points to end at 3,624.00 and Harel (TASE:) was down 2.97% or 87.00 points to 2,840.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 336 to 133 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:) unchanged to all time highs; unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to 49,300.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.68% or 1.97 to $75.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.53% or 1.99 to hit $80.79 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.05 to trade at $2,068.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.53% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.25.
