Jean Silva made good on his Octagon debut earlier tonight (Sat., Jan. 13, 2024) at UFC Vegas 84 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, capturing a dominant first-round TKO win over Westin Wilson.
This was the third-straight TKO finish to start the UFC Vegas 84 card. Check out the others HERE and HERE.
Silva made a name for himself after winning his spot on the Contender Series last September. The Brazilian striker is as confident as they come and was actually one of the biggest betting favorites on the card. “Killer” didn’t disappoint.
The 27-year-old featherweight prospect started to land heavy shots the second the fight started. Wilson is a much taller and longer fighter, but Silva had no issues getting inside and landing from range as well. He eventually did enough damage to trap Wilson along the fence. That’s when Silva unloaded two brutal right hands that slammed into Wilson’s head and forced the stoppage.
