Tubi, which launched around the same time as Apple TV+, has established itself as an over-the-top content provider, offering a diverse selection of movies and TV shows ranging from horrors to westerns. Despite the growing competition over the years, the streaming service has reached over 70 million monthly active users in 2023, demonstrating why it is one of the best streamers in the world.
Of course, like most streamers, the platform plans to add plenty of content every month to keep its subscribers entertained. So, as usual, Tubi has prepared a roster of exciting horror films for the upcoming month. With that in mind, here is the list of every horror film coming to Tubi in February 2024.
13 Ghosts (1960)
Streaming Feb. 1
13 Ghosts is William Castle’s classic horror film that presents audiences with a top-notch haunted house experience. While the concept may not perform very well nowadays, since it has been overused throughout the years, it remains a must-watch classic. Cyrus Zorba and his poverty-ridden family believe they have landed a fortune after inheriting an old mansion from the deceased Plato Zorba. However, they eventually realize that the house is haunted by ghosts but refuse to leave, expecting to find buried wealth within the mansion. Will their greed destroy their family? Or will they learn their lesson before they are engulfed by tragedy?
Hannibal (2001)
Streaming Feb. 1
Hannibal, directed by Riddley Scott, is a follow-up to the 1991 classic The Silence of the Lambs. Despite the movie giving off an inconsistent vibe, it is widely misunderstood by viewers. That said, Hannibal remains an enjoyable psychological horror film, though it fails to live up to its predecessor.
Ten years after the events of The Silence of the Lambs, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a sophisticated serial killer and cannibal, emerges in Florence in the hopes of starting where he left off. However, Mason Verger, the sole survivor of Hannibal’s crimes, is hell-bent on seeking retribution, and he intends to lure him out using the one thing that Hannibal Lecter values the most: Clarice Starling, portrayed by Jodie Foster in The Silence of the Lambs, and Julianne Moore in Hannibal.

Streaming Feb. 1
The Descent
- Release Date
- July 8, 2005
- Cast
- Shauna Macdonald , Natalie Jackson Mendoza , Alex Reid , Saskia Mulder , MyAnna Buring , Nora-Jane Noone
Horror takes many forms, but one fueled by claustrophobia is something not everyone can handle. The Descent is precisely that: a film that is both scary and compelling, with an effective ambiance and creative moments involving a minor plot device.
The plot revolves around a group of women who go on their yearly expedition and choose to explore a hidden cave in the remote woods of the Appalachians. As they descend into the darkness searching for something interesting, nothing awaits them but horror, as the cave is inhabited by bizarre, human-like monsters that feed on living things. Will these women find a way to return to the surface before it’s too late? Both the first and second parts of The Descent will be available on Tubi on Feb. 1.
Warm Bodies (2013)
Streaming Feb. 1
Warm Bodies may not be the scariest horror film, but it is absolutely worth watching. The film contains horror elements in the form of a zombie apocalypse, but these are overshadowed by humor and romance, which, as you’d expect, is between a zombie and a human.
How 28 Days Later Brought Zombie Movies Back to Life
28 Days Later was a groundbreaking horror film from 2002 that brought a tired and limping genre back to life.
Following a zombie apocalypse, a young and strangely introspective zombie named R saves Julie, a girl who ventures beyond the walls in search of food and other necessities. Julie, believing that R is becoming human, begins to care for him. However, what started as a kind gesture grows into a warm relationship that eventually ignites the continuing war between humans and zombies. The movie, starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, and John Malkovich, is directed by Jonathan Levine.
Welcome Home (2018)
Streaming Feb. 1
Welcome Home is a horror drama starring Aaron Paul and Emily Ratajkowski that is quite basic in terms of suspense and writing, but it is worth watching if you enjoy Paul’s work. Although the plot has been seen before in other films, it holds your attention throughout, making it an entertaining thriller at the very least.
In the film, Bryan and Cassie decide to take a week-long vacation at a house in Umbria in the hopes of mending their relationship. Cassie cheated on Bryan while she was drunk, and their relationship has never been the same since. This attempt to rekindle their love for each other turns disastrous when they are confronted with a psychotic stalker who takes pleasure in their misery. Welcome Home is a different kind of horror that plays on the fear of being stalked. Although it may not be one of Aaron Paul’s absolute best performances, fans of the Breaking Bad actor may enjoy the thriller.
