Taking to Twitter to share memories of his chance-meeting with one of his musical idols-Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks-at Whiskey a Go Go in LA, James Gunn-director of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad-was warmed inside by memories of songs by Monroe that made it into Peacemaker. He even got a couple of castmates from Peacemaker and Superman to join in. What should have been a cool post talking music fandom soon flared into another Twitter war in the comments.

Gunn’s smooth tweet spoke of Monroe as a favorite rock musician of his from high school and how his music made it into Peacemaker. Enter mayhem in the comments section. An argumentative Twitter spat stirred up among users LastS0n, Furious Styles, and Mohammed🇵🇸, with mutual accusations of- racism, supporting pedophilia, and just an internet tussle.
LastSon were just bad-mouthing me; the old-school-social-justice avatar was challenging the greener racists with pedo jokes. Furious Styles came back with what these boys earned was being taken too far out of context, and it was about LastS0n merely trying to dig up drama. In came Mohammed🇵🇸 backing the accusations of LastSon cast. A mess with a flurry of insults and links.
APBOSS went up to Gunn and said, Your movie sucks ass without telling anything else. Pure savage, ontologically hating. Another example of the Twitter classic.
Andrew-Gunn’s cute post about some rock concert had become a battlefield. Blind-left-field, some replies dredged up ancient tweets and past arguments purely for the sake of fueling fire. Furious Styles downplayed everything as a misunderstanding and miscommunication while LastS0n ramped up and cursed at them.
It’s an episode from WWE swinging left and right with no winner. And Gunn? Probably vibing and happily unaware of the dumpster fire raging on in his comments.

In short: this is social media on full display-where someone posts something lovely, and the internet makes it a battleground. Real outrage or just for show, there is one fact about which you cannot argue-Twitter never loses.
