KotOR Heroes & Villains Assemble In Stunning Star Wars Tribute


The Jedi heroes and Sith villains of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic assemble in a tremendous tribute to the classic computer games.


An amazing piece of art pays tribute to the heroes and villains of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Lucasfilm unveiled its official Star Wars timeline at Star Wars Celebration 2023, announcing projects within every single era. There was one exception, though; the Old Republic. That particular slot is presumably reserved for the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic remake. The original award-winning game is considered a classic, and gamers are excited to see what will come of this remake.

Freelance illustrator Jake Bartok – an artist who’s actually worked for Lucasfilm in the past – has completed a stunning tribute to the Jedi heroes and Sith villains of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The amazing artwork features many of the most prominent heroes and villains of this era, while the overall format feels like a homage to classic Expanded Universe novel covers. It’s a reminder just how popular KotOR remains.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Is Gradually Returning To Canon

Although the original KotOR games are considered non-canon, many of the characters have already been referenced as part of Disney lore. This has led to some speculation the basic KotOR elements should still be considered canon, an exciting prospect with massive implications for the timeline. It’s certainly true that Disney keeps drawing on KotOR for inspiration, meaning this classic game continues to shape the Star Wars franchise today.
