Kristen Doute is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and she’s been reflecting on the tremendous journey that she’s been on with fiancé Luke Broderick to have a healthy child. The Valley star is due in June 2025 with the couple’s first baby. As Kristen’s due date draws closer, she decided to share surprising news about her unborn daughter.
The Vanderpump Rules alum successfully kept her pregnancy after undergoing an IUI (intrauterine insemination) procedure. Kristen decided to turn to the help of modern fertility treatments after tragically suffering a miscarriage in early 2023. Thankfully, she’s been enjoying a healthy and active pregnancy this time around.

Kristen and Luke decided to share their baby’s gender with the world, and they also teased their baby daughter’s name. The couple did share that they had a name in mind even before Kristen realized she was pregnant.
“She is named. She has been named since before we got pregnant, and of course, we had to revisit the name and make sure it did feel right, and it did,” Kristen exclusively told People. “And we’ve been calling her that, especially Luke in the beginning.”
“It’s a little weird for me, because I felt like he was talking to a plant, like saying her name, and be like, ‘Oh, you’re growing.’ I was like, ‘This is so weird, you’re not here yet!’” she continued.
Now, the mother-to-be feels more connected to her daughter. She added, “But now it feels like she’s a real baby now, just not out in the world yet.”

In December 2024, Kristen and Luke announced that they were expecting a girl. The duo were “so excited” with the news.
“Luke and I are so thrilled to be having a little girl, which honestly was unexpected because I was convinced we were having a boy!” Kristen said at the time. “To find out in the way that we did, to have Brittany [Cartwright] be the one who shared the news from our doctor could not have been more perfect. It was really special to have our family and friends from out of town ‘be there’ virtually.”
Referring to her June 2025 due date, she added, “We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives together and to soon welcome our baby girl next summer.”
