The Bachelor season 28 contestant Lexi Young is forming a deep connection with leading man Joey Graziadei, but will they get engaged in the end? Joey, a 28-year-old tennis pro from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, has shared a strong connection with Lexi since premiere night. In episode 3, Lexi impressed Joey during the talent show when she declared herself to be the World’s Best Kisser, and proved it to him by giving him a long kiss on stage. She also praised him for having such a good heart and being sincere, when she was asked what was Joey’s most attractive quality to her. Lexi won the talent show, because, as Joey said, she came out of her comfort zone during it.
During The Bachelor season 28 episode 4, Joey chose Lexi for the one-on-one date in Malta. She opened up to him about her experience with endometriosis, explaining that she might not be able to have children. She told Joey that she felt that she was called to be a mother, and this was very hard for her. She also said that her ex-boyfriend broke up with her because of it. Joey thanked Lexi for sharing something so personal with him, and he told her that it didn’t make him want to run away. Joey gave her the date rose, but will he propose to her in the end?
20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Television is being impacted by the ongoing entertainment industry strikes, leaving many turning to reality TV. What are the best shows right now?
Who Is Lexi Young?
Lexi is a 30-year-old digital strategist, currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. According to her ABC bio, she graduated in the top 1% of her MBA summer program at MIT. During her childhood, she moved over 15 times. She loves to play poker and cannot live without her self-tanning mousse. Lexi has a life goal to run a marathon.
During The Bachelor season 28 premiere, Lexi shared with Joey that she was originally from Toronto, Canada. She told him that she was only on the show because he was the Bachelor. In her premiere night package, Lexi revealed that she’s always wanted to be a mother, but in the last couple of years, she started having health issues that seemingly came out of nowhere.
Lexi then shared that she has a health condition (endometriosis) that might result in her not being able to have children. She said that it was “heart-wrenching,” and it made her feel “self-conscious about dating.” However, Lexi shared that she’s gotten to a place in which she knows what she wants, and she’s ready to find her person. She was feeling “super excited” to meet Joey.
Do Lexi & Joey Get Engaged?
According to Reality Steve, Lexi eventually self-eliminated from The Bachelor season 28, so she and Joey didn’t get engaged. After their one-on-one date in Malta, Lexi participated in a group date the following week in Marbella, Spain. The week after that, Joey and the remaining 10 women traveled to Montreal, Canada, during which Lexi was part of another group date. After that date, Lexi self-eliminated. Reality Steve stated, “Apparently their timelines of marriage and kids didn’t align, so she left. I’m not sure exactly whose timeline is what. All I heard was this had to do with their timelines not meshing.”
Lexi and Joey seem to have a strong connection so far, so it’s surprising that Lexi didn’t make it further on The Bachelor season 28. She’s a brilliant, brave, and beautiful woman. However, if Reality Steve is correct, then it’s possible that Joey and Lexi were simply in different places in their lives and therefore not fully compatible. Hopefully, Lexi and Joey will both find the love that they’ve been searching for.
The Bachelor season 28 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
