David Leavitt Wants A Pizza Loving Board Game Partner

Who would have thought that David Leavitt, the board gaming aficionado of geek culture, would be tweeting something that became a topic for discussion instantly? By discussion, I mean everything from roasting him to cheering him and anything in between. Hear it from the man-he is tired of all women saying they are “not looking to play games”; in mind games, good sir; meaning the real deal: board games, pizza included.

The tweet also featured another picture of unique board game collections. You wonder if this guy really owns a board game store or perhaps just has no bounds when it comes to cardboard and dice. Internet was like, “Thoughts.”

Now the supportive crew showed up. Hurachi Stone said “Impressive collection 👏” with no drama, keeping it simple and short. Then Andy cared less about the games”Dough spoiled for choice on the game front, what’s on the pizza?” Priority, people!

But that would not have been complete without the classic internet spice. CANUCK-BULL came with the roast: “I thought you were gay?? If not, women want a man. Not a man-child. Hope this helps David🤣🤣🤣🤣.” Ouch! That one hurt.

Lynx looked at the collection and stated, “No Terraforming Mars is why you’re alone.” Harsh-and is it true? Perhaps. But it is still pretty cold. Then wwwsurfer had the ultimate board game diss: “I can’t find 1830, so you probably stay single.” If you don’t own 1830, then love is really hard for you, my friend.

Some comments were just plain funny. Like the one by Fa-Zing: “Reset the clock!” No context whatsoever! Or Jim Deffix, who happened to see Aliens in the background and gave big-time kudos. And then there’s Karin Socci, who has great suggestions for David: using that shot as his dating profile pic! And quite honestly, not a bad idea.

Just some important questions: Does David Leavitt happen to have Masterpiece on his shelves? SirToochAlot wants to know. And honestly, so do we.

At the end of the day, David’s tweet is quite relatable. Who wouldn’t want to spend time playing board games and eating pizza with somebody? That’s a dream! As for now, he will continue to be carried on the wings of the internet-occasionally roasted, sometimes cheered on, and continually asked about his pizza toppings.
David, if you’re reading this, grow that collection some more! And Terraforming Mars can’t hurt. Just saying.
