Branding in Seongsu’s cast includes established actors and up-and-coming stars in a body swap K-drama about the world of marketing. One of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2024, Branding in Seongsu combines comedy, romance, and a mystery plot. It tells the story of Kang Na-eon and So Eun-ho, two very different people who end up switching bodies right as they are starting to unveil a conspiracy.

Na-eon is a successful businesswoman who is quickly climbing the professional ladder, whereas Eun-ho is an intern who believes he can change the entire industry. Once college rivals, Eun-ho and Na-eon clearly like each other but refuse to acknowledge it at first. Although Branding in Seongsu’s premise is not too different from that of similar shows, this new romance K-drama works due to the performance of its strong cast.



Kim Ji-eun as Kang Na-eon

Actor: Kim Ji-eun, 30, is a South Korean actor born in Incheon on October 9, 1993. She attended Cheongju University, where she studied theater. Although Kim Ji-eun’s first acting role was in the 2019 action comedy movie Long Live The King, her entertainment career started in 2016 when did modeling work for a local brand. She was also featured in music videos before having her breakout role as Min Ji-eun in Hell Is Other People, a 10-episode horror K-drama from 2019. Kim’s next major role would be as Yoo Je-yi in 2021’s The Veil.

Character: Kim Ji-eun plays Kang Na-eon in Branding in Seongsu. Na-eon is the head of her department in a promising marketing agency and the youngest person to ever have such a job. She graduated from college not too long ago, which is where she knows So Eun-ho. Na-eon believes in getting the job done regardless of what it takes, which is the opposite of how Eun-ho perceives marketing. Still, she does want to do the right thing and start to investigate XU’s business practices before almost being killed by a mysterious person wearing a rabbit mask.

Lomon as So Eun-ho


Actor: Lomon, 24, is a South Korean actor born in Uzbekistan on November 11, 1999. Although Lomon’s acting career started in 2014 with small appearances in dramas like 4 Legendary Witches, The Doctors, and Bride of the Century, his breakout role would be in 2017’s Sweet Revenge. Lomon played Shin Ji-hoon in the popular web series, leading to bigger roles in other K-dramas. Lomon’s biggest role, however, was yet to come. In 2020, he starred as Su-hyeok in the highly successful All of Us Are Dead, one of Netflix’s best K-dramas that is now getting a second season.

Character: Lomon plays So Eun-ho in Branding in Seongsu. Eun-ho is a free-spirit intern who has just joined a major marketing agency, which happens to be run by his former college senior. Eun-ho is full of energy and is always making jokes, but he cares about his craft and the responsibility that comes with working with marketing. Eun-ho is against working with clients who are doing something wrong and even participated in a protest against one of the companies his agency is about to work with. Eu-ho is very different from Na-eon, setting up a hilarious body swap storyline.

Yang Hye-Ji as Doo Yoo-mi: Doo Yoo-mi has a high-profile job at the agency and works close to Na-eon. Unlike her boss, who takes everything very seriously, Yoo-mi is more energetic and can be more chaotic. She has a crush on Jung-woo, although he does not feel the same way about her. Yoo-mi is played by Yang Hye-ji, known for her roles in Nevertheless and Sweet Home season 2.

Kim Ho-young as Cha Jung-Woo: Jung-woo is the chief graphic designer at the agency and is part of Na-eon’s inner circle alongside Yoo-mi. Although Jung-woo is aware that Yoo-mi likes him, he says that he wants to keep their relationship as friends only. However, Jung-woo likes Na-eon and has made no effort to hide it. Jung-woo is played by Kim Ho-young, who is having his first major role in Branding in Seongsu.


Shin Hyun-su as Kim Jin-seok: Jin-seok is the CEO of XU. As such, he is the person Na-eon is trying to impress by offering the best possible PR strategies for his company. However, Na-eon soon realizes the company she is trying to help hides a lot of secrets, which makes Jin-seon one of the suspects when someone tries to kill her. Jin-seok is played by Shin Hyun-su, actor and musician known for Age of Youth, Bossam: Steal the Fate, and Duty After School.

Kim Young-jae as Sung Soo-dong: Soo-dong is one of the other lower-level employees at the agency who helps Eun-ho understand how it all works. He, Jin-seok, and the rest of the interns and lower-level employees often have lunch together in a smaller restaurant compared to the ones Na-eon attends. Branding in Seongsu’s Soo-dong is played by Kim Young-jae, who was previously in K-dramas such as Love Revolution and Stranger Kim.
