Usher announces London O2 shows after Super Bowl half-time success | Ents & Arts News

Usher has announced that he’ll be performing in London next year.

The news follows the R&B star‘s successful Super Bowl half-time show earlier this month, after which he married his partner Jenn Goicoechea in Las Vegas.

Aside from eight shows in Paris last year, it will be the first time he’s toured Europe since his UR Tour in 2015.

The 45-year-old singer will play three dates at London’s O2 arena in April 2025 followed by concerts in Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam.

He’ll then tour America, visiting cities including Texas, Vegas, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Speaking about the tour, Usher said: “Europe, you ready? After the epic experience at the Super Bowl and the huge demand for shows across North America, I’m happy to announce I’m coming your way as well – for shows in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

“This tour is both a celebration of the past 30 years and a glimpse into the future. We are just getting started!”

This year marks 30 years since the release of his debut, self-titled album in 1994.

News of Usher’s Europe tour comes just days after his Super Bowl half-time performance at Allegiant Stadium, with over 100 million people watching around the world as the San Francisco 49ers took on the Kansas City Chiefs.

His 13-minute headline slot featured appearances from stars including Alicia Keys, HER, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon and Ludacris.

He performed hits including Bad Girl, U Got It Bad, Burn and Love In This Club, which was accompanied by a marching band.

Ahead of the performance, Usher also announced his latest album titled Coming Home – which will be his first solo album in eight years.

He recently closed his two-year, 100-show Las Vegas Strip residency where he performed Usher: My Way at the Park MGM.
