Garrison Brown, the son of Sister Wives stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has died at 25 years old.
Garrison has appeared on Sister Wives throughout its run on TLC. The 25-year-old died in Flagstaff, Arizona on Tuesday, March 5, according to TMZ. He lived in Flagstaff after moving out of his family home in 2022. According to TMZ, Flagstaff police are looking into Garrison’s death as a possible suicide.
Police responded to a report of a death at Garrison’s home on Tuesday, March 5. He was found dead on the scene with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, per TMZ. His 22-year-old brother, Gabriel Brown, is said to have arrived at the house and found Garrison there. Garrison and Gabriel lived together in Flagstaff.
Janelle and Kody confirmed their son’s passing in a joint statement on Instagram, saying, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
“We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown,” TLC said in a statement to TV Insider. “We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
Sister Wives follows Kody and his polygamist lifestyle. He shares 18 children with four women, but is currently only married to one woman, Robyn Sullivan. Kody and Janelle married in 1993 and were split by December 2022. The other sister wives include Christine Brown and Meri Brown. Garrison has appeared throughout Sister Wives since it originally premiered in 2010.
Garrison was recently seen in Christine and David Woolley’s wedding special, Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding. The family lived in Nevada, and in 2015, he enlisted in the Nevada National Guard. Garrison wanted to join the Army, but made a compromise with his father to join the National Guard instead. He left for basic training in July 2016 and graduated in September 2016.
Garrison is survived by his parents and siblings Gabriel, Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Savanah, Aspyn, Leon, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely, Solomon, and Ariella.
