How much do Vanderpump Rules cast members make now that they’re on Season 11? A few recent reports shared the evolution of the cast’s salary since the show aired its first season in 2013.
What started as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has almost no connection to its original roots, besides the presence of Lisa Vanderpump. But even Lisa is rather separated from her beginnings as a Housewife given all the other ventures she’s taken on since then.
The stars who have stuck with Lisa from Seasons 1 to 11 include Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, and Katie Maloney, with Tom Schwartz and Ariana Madix credited as a recurring cast member and a guest, respectively. Moreover, Jax Taylor is set to appear as a guest in Season 11.
Did Rachel have it worse than the VPR cast?
A recent article from The New York Times revealed that the OG cast each made $10,000 for the first season of VPR. With 10 episodes across the first season, that means $1,000 per episode per cast member. The first season is a far cry from Season 11, wherein the cast reportedly makes a whopping $35,000 per episode.
If Season 11 features more than 20 episodes, the cast would be looking at a payout of over $700,000. This is excluding the income received from other personal projects, side hustles, and merchandise sales. NYT claimed that these side hustles can bring in up to $250,000 for some VPR cast members.
Furthermore, producer Alex Baskin told the Times that Rachel Leviss was making $19,000 per episode for the 18-episode run of Season 10. This came in response to her claims that she didn’t profit off of Sandoval in the way her co-stars did. Granted, Rachel still had a decent point given the opportunities presented to Tom and Ariana post-Season 10.
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
