Why The Bachelor Season 28’s Joey Graziadei Should Choose Kelsey Anderson

Summary

  • The Bachelor season 28’s Joey Graziadei should choose Kelsey Anderson.
  • Kelsey is the only contestant to tell Joey “I love you” so far.
  • Kelsey’s openness and honesty with her emotions towards Joey set her apart from the other contestants competing for his heart.

The Bachelor season 28 leading man Joey Graziadei had his overnight Fantasy Suite dates with Kelsey Anderson, Daisy Kent, and Rachel Nance, and it’s very clear that he should choose Kelsey to be his future wife. Joey, a 28-year-old tennis pro from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, had an immediate connection with Kelsey Anderson, a 25-year-old junior project manager currently living in New Orleans, Louisiana. On premiere night, she emerged from the limousine with a voodoo doll of Joey. When Kelsey kissed the doll, Joey joked that he felt it on his cheek.

Throughout The Bachelor season 28, Kelsey and Joey have had a beautiful and natural progression of their relationship. From their two romantic one-on-one dates to their successful hometown date to their meaningful overnight Fantasy Suite date, they’ve made a lot of memories. Television is being impacted by the ongoing entertainment industry strikes, leaving many turning to reality TV. What are the best shows right now?

The Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson Is In Love With Joey Graziadei & He’s Falling In Love With Her

Out of all of the 32 women who competed for Joey’s heart on The Bachelor season 28, Kelsey is the only one who’s told Joey that she’s in love with him. She actually said the words, “I love you,” to him. Kelsey was honest in the beginning, telling him that she was starting to trip, then later that she was falling, and then, finally, that she was in love with him. Joey responded by saying that he was falling in love with her.

Joey’s biggest fear throughout The Bachelor season 28 has been that he’ll fall in love with someone and get rejected again. He was Charity Lawson’s runner-up, and he was ready to propose to her because he was convinced that he was the one. Joey was devastated when Charity chose to break up with him in order to get engaged to Dotun Olubeko instead. If Joey chooses Kelsey, he’ll go into the proposal without any doubts that she loves him. She’d be a definite “yes,” which is what he’s been waiting and hoping for.

Kelsey is open with her emotions with Joey. After their overnight Fantasy Suite date, Joey gushed in his confessional that it felt real and right with Kelsey, and it was so great to hear that she loves him. He said that everything fits. Kelsey’s willingness to express her feelings to Joey is exactly what he needs in order to feel confident to propose at the end of the season.

Kelsey Stays Away From Drama & Focuses Completely On Joey

Throughout The Bachelor season 28, several of the women, including Sydney Gordon, Lea Cayanan, and Jess Edwards, bullied Maria Georgas. They became more focused on her than their relationships with Joey, which ultimately led to Joey eliminating all of them. It was refreshing to see Kelsey stay out of the drama, and make Joey her number one priority. This proves that Kelsey was there for the right reasons. Joey should choose Kelsey because she always puts him first.

Kelsey’s Family Accepts Joey & Believes In The Bachelor Process

During Kelsey’s hometown date, Joey met her father, Mark, her younger brother, Matthew, and her older sister, Taylor. Kelsey’s mother, Denise, passed away due to breast cancer in 2018, and it is something that has shaped her entire life. Before Joey met Kelsey’s dad, she assured Joey that he was open to the Bachelor process because he told her that it was something that her mother would do. During their hometown date, Mark shared photographs of Denise with Joey, indicating that he trusted him with his family’s precious memories.

Before Joey met Mark, Kelsey had told Joey all about how he’d been the rock for her and her four siblings after their mother passed away, even though he was grieving himself. Kelsey and Joey both have a tremendous amount of respect for Mark, so it was important to Joey that Mark was on board with the process. Mark told Kelsey that he was reassured by how Joey was with her, and he told her that he just wanted his children to have that feeling that he had with their mother, because it’s the best thing in the world.

Kelsey told her dad that she thought she loved Joey, and he became emotional and told her that he loved her. Mark was open to listening to Kelsey’s story with Joey so far. He said in his confessional that he was very happy, and it was wonderful to see the connection that Joey and Kelsey have. Although he knew that there was the possibility that Kelsey could get her heartbroken, he added that he thought that Joey would take care of Kelsey. Mark concluded by saying that he hoped that Kelsey was engaged when she came home.

If Kelsey and Joey do end up engaged, it’s good to know that they’ll have the support of her family, especially her dad.The Bachelor process is a roller coaster, and sometimes it’s hard for families to be convinced that it can work. Kelsey told Joey that she was sure about who Joey was and their connection, but she was glad to have her family validate her feelings because it was everything she needed and more. Mark is very protective of his daughter, but he was accepting of Joey, which is very important for both Kelsey and Joey.

Kelsey & Joey Already Seem Like A Couple

Kelsey and Joey’s dates are always fun and romantic. They had some lowkey dates, including a picnic in Spain and hanging out around Jasper, Canada. They also had adventures when they participated in the Polar Plunge Palooza in Jasper and swimming in the ocean in Tulum, Mexico. The fact that Kelsey and Joey thrive not only in thrilling environments but also in the quieter moments makes them seem like a real couple. They already seem as though they’ve moved out of the heightened fantasy environment of The Bachelor, and into the real world.

This was most evident during Kelsey and Joey’s breakfast scene the morning of their Fantasy Suite overnight date. As they cooked breakfast together, they were fun and flirty, joking around and kissing in the kitchen. It’s easy to imagine them settling into their life together outside of the show, comfortable and clear in their intentions. There’s no drama or angst between them when they’re together.

After their one-on-one date, Kelsey was beginning to spiral a bit because she met with Leslie Fhima, The Golden Bachelorette runner-up, who warned her that she should guard her heart. Kelsey became worried thinking about the fact that Joey still had two other women left besides her. Although the show has teased Kelsey writing to Joey that they need to talk, it’s hard to imagine this turning into them breaking up. Instead, it seems like a normal reaction to thinking about the man she loves spending time with other women. Like a real-life couple, hopefully they’ll work through this issue, and come out stronger in the end.

While Daisy and Rachel are also wonderful women, there’s something about Kelsey and Joey’s relationship that’s both magical and real. Seeing her tell him that she loves him made it clear that she’s the one for him. Joey should definitely choose Kelsey in the end and get engaged to her. They have a bright future ahead of them, filled with happiness and love. Together Kelsey and Joey will live happily ever after.
