All eyes are on Candiace Dillard this week as she celebrates a monumental milestone alongside her husband, Chris Bassett. The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star hit Instagram with a very touching post, a photo montage commemorating the 10-years-of-first-date anniversary. Everything about the post was perfect.

In yet another vintage-y and heartfelt caption, she said that in the split time of being friends turned lovers, Chris has gone well beyond just plain great in putting in effort for their union. She added that he managed to keep the engagement secret for a whole month. That is some next-level sneaky stuff. The post contained throwback pictures from the early days of their relationship all the way to what looked like an engagement day. Those nails were chef’s kiss.
Now, for the juicy part-the comments section was equally good as the post. Some user marked it one of the best weddings in Bravo history, and I’ll tell you, it really is. Another fan humorously said Candiace’s reaction to the proposal was classic, as she nodded her head “yes” before the words were even out of his mouth.
This sparked a little shade toward fellow RHOP star Gizelle Bryant: “Is Gizelle married???? In a relationship???? Nope still trying from the sidelines 😆😆😆😆 love this for @therealcandiace @cbassett33.” Oop! Somebody better give Gizelle a check because that might require some icing.
And then some more love followed, as the fans declared them “our fave couple on Housewives, full stop.” That is hard to argue against after witnessing that very post; these two are basically on the real, with Chris organizing everything even down to the last minute details to make sure everyone from family and friends were there.
Candiace ended with a hilarious demand for Chris to bring home some pasta. After all, 10 years later, a girl still knows what she wants. And honestly, same.

It’s rare to see a reality-TV couple make it all the way through, but these two have been making it look easy. Here’s to another 10 years of love, laughter, and perhaps plenty of shady comments along the way.
