“Goonies Never Say Die,” but the original of The Goonies cast has spoken candidly about the long-anticipated sequel to Richard Donner’s 1985 cult classic and, unfortunately, it might not be the news that fans want to hear. Goonies 2 has been in development for a while, but Warner Bros. officially confirmed the sequel in February. There are no plot details as yet. However, those hoping for a reunion in the Goon Docks might be out of luck, as the cast say they are “unlikely” to have main roles in the film, but they could perhaps have “cameos.”
