Emily in Paris season 4 has been delayed during the WGA writers strike. The series, which comes from Sex and the City creator Darren Star, stars Lily Collins as the titular Emily, an American who becomes a fish out of water when she gets a job as a social media guru for a marketing company in France. The ensemble cast of the series includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.
Per Variety, production on Emily in Paris season 4 has been delayed by two months during the ongoing writers strike while the WGA pushes their fight for fair writer compensation into its sixth week. The new season was originally set to kick off production in late summer or early fall. Reportedly, Netflix intends to stick to a late fall production kickoff, though if the strike extends even longer this could impact the season in currently unforeseen ways.
