The celebrity wrestler Fatu-lly known mostly to WWE fans as Naomi-fumed over the wrestling fraternity when with barely any semblance of hesitation and with much inflammability on social media she declared that she would be winning Mrs Money In The Bank 2025. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion posted that picture of her holding the briefcase and captioned it: “Your 2025 MRS. MONEY IN THE BANK ⚠️ #mitb #ProceedWithCaution” as multiple reactions surfaced from the platforms, both for and against her.

The Money In The Bank concept, in which wrestlers fight for a contract that might be exchanged for any championship at any given time, has given birth to some of the most unforgettable moments in wrestling history. Following her huge return to WWE, Fatu is staking the claim for the 2025 title after the sour years of 2022 when she-and Mercedes Moné Varnado (then known as Sasha Banks)-walked out of a live episode of Monday Night Raw.

The responses poured in at all extremes, from a torrential downpour of positive energy to downright brutal trolling. It read “BITCHES BETTER PROCEED WITH CAUTION NOW,” that one comment helped agitate the atmosphere that was being built around Fatu’s resurgence. Some even went on to contrast her achievements with those of her former tag team partner Mercedes Moné Varnado, who is now in AEW: “Look at your friend being on top of the World while you’re literally wrestling under tents.”

That name was enough to send off a tireless chain of responses, comparing how the two wrestlers were doing at the present time. “She’s got 5 belts,” commented a user in reference to Varnado’s securing of championship belts in other promotions, while another replied: “More impressive than all the belts you have that nobody cares about.” The whole back-and-forth only showed the divisive nature of wrestling buffs over which is better: WWE or any other promos.

Some comments revolve around the scenario where Fatu would cash in on her theoretical Money In The Bank contract against Varnado, one said, “And when she cashes in on you” with a laughing emoji. The speculation about the storyline soon began, with one hopeful fan saying, “Oh my God, it’s happening. She’s going to be on RAW Monday with Naomi,” hinting at a possible reunion of the two former partners.

The VHAs would view Fatu’s declaration as belated confirmation for one of the most exceptionally skilled performers. “Congrats mama, we’re so proud of you,” expressed one emotional fan, while another added, “Way too late, but bout damn time.” The somewhat mixed responses tell a tale of yet how Fatu polarizes but commands respect in the professional wrestling world.

In the mythology of WWE, the Money In The Bank briefcase is like a TARDIS; champions like Edge, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins took the briefcase as if it was a teleport and entered a higher echelon of stardom. But will Fatu marry prophecy with claim, or is she on the road merely to kindle a raging fire? Time will tell. What can, however, be declared in total certainty is that the searing declaration simply makes it evident that this wrestler is probably one of the best on the planet at the moment.

The timing with which Fatu posted her statement needs some observation as it almost perfectly coincided with the ever-rising storm of speculations and discussions regarding the long-term creative vision of WWE post their eventual merger with UFC, which formed TKO Group Holdings. While the company has been busy pushing storylines-by-storylines, talent by talent, this side of statement surely piqued the interest of analysts studying the changing terrain of wrestling.

The wrestling world continues to digest responses to Fatu’s recent statement, and realistically, one thing is for sure: whether real or hypothetical, the Money In The Bank contract has to be held tight by Trinity Fatu, who over and over again has been making all the noise and always in discussion ever since the contract was announced. Mixed but passionate answers are proof that the star power still hasn’t declined and will forever continue to enlarge in forthcoming days for her in WWE.
