Now, half the reason we tune in to the shows on Bravo is to see what fashions our favorite Bravolebs are wearing. But the Southern Charm cast has taken their apparel to a whole new level, and I am here for it. Below are my choices for best dressed down in Charleston. Let me know if you agree!
Madison LeCroy stuns in pastels
The blonde bombshell of the South never disappoints me when it comes to her fashion choices. This season, she has been going for an Elle Woods-inspired collection which has included tweed and gold Chanel-inspired buttons. Dare I say Patricia Altschul is rubbing off on her? Madison LeCroy has been known to turn heads with her gorgeous ensembles. The mother of one once told Bravo, “I would say I’m kind of like tomboy, but not. I’ll do a sneaker with a linen dress and a sweater wrapped around my waist, that kind of vibe. Or I do crop top workout clothes all day because I’m just running around. I would say, overall, my style is very relaxed. I love a good matching set. Anything that’s monochromatic, I love.”
The fashion icon has been known to shop at stores like Beach Riot. If she is staying close to home, her Charleston shops include Hampden and Moda Operandi. According to Hampden’s website, “Located in a historic building dating back to 1878, Hampden stands out on Charleston’s famous King Street with nearly 10,000 square feet of the most unique designer assortment of ready-to-wear.” Madison’s recent white scoop dress that she claimed had her looking like a “Baptist bride” was made by Reformation and can be snagged for under $300.
Craig Conover loves a Hawaiian shirt
We all know Paige DeSorbo not-so-secretly improved Craig Conover’s style. The Southern Charm star was known for his love of flip-flops. But slowly and surely, his now ex-girlfriend kept throwing them away and introduced him to fashion skewers. Needless to say, Craig has never looked back and now knows sandals are for the pool. But the Deleware native did just fine before meeting her, in my opinion. The Sewing Down South founder embraced the preppy boat look that Charleston encapsulated for much of the early seasons of Southern Charm. Lest we forget, Craig once strutted his stuff in a K. Cooper Ray runway show. At the time, he embraced a red suit that really made him pop.
When it comes to his outdoor game, Craig has it covered. Remember those yellow-striped Duvin Design Company Traveler Swim Short swim trunks from last season? He snags a few pairs every season at Coco Cabana. Craig also loves some ready-to-wear stores like Under Armor, where most of his lounge looks come from. Craig’s style is spot-on for his personality. The man knows how to dress up and how to dress down whenever the time is right. Now, without Paige by his side, he will have to start fending for himself.
Cameran Eubanks is the Lilly Pulitzer queen
Even though Cameran Eubanks is no longer on Southern Charm, her style had fans in a chokehold. The woman made it her life’s mission to embrace the maxi dress before it was ever popular. Cameran was known for shopping at the local department store, Gwynn’s, which carried high-end luxury designer pieces. The store was often featured in the series as the ladies would search for a new outfit for whatever party they were attending. While speaking to Charleston Magazine, Cam let fans into her closet to talk about a specific brand of shoes she loved, Sol Sana. The mother of one isn’t afraid to try brands from outside the country and loved this Australian one.
When it comes to splurging on certain items, Cameran noted, “I don’t mind spending on good cashmere—you have it forever. I also have a decent collection of Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dresses.” Nowadays, Cam loves shopping for her dresses at stores like Saloni, Alemais, and even Amazon. Yes, Cameran often links her dresses to the site, and it’s a great way to look like her but without breaking the bank. Honestly, all of the Charmers look so good that any would be worthy of copying.
