With her newest hit, Cardi B has been showered with love and just a little heat. The rapper took to social media to thank everyone for the support; few were not in favor. The song runs a few minutes of unapologetic, raw words and energy from Cardi, asking for reactions with a swell of hype and outright shade.

The snippet in the video shows Cardi throwing out the usual fiery bars: “Next time you see your mama tell her how she raised a bitch,” which sent the comment section wild. “Girl u devoured. Sending love from Chicago,” a commentator hailed Cardi. Another fan picked up on the Libra vibes in the track, quoting the line “Do you how you do me, bet you we won’t speak again,” and added, “pure zodiac vibes.”

That was unpleasing to other people. Cardi was attacked for flows being copied. “Stealing the flow from your biggest inspiration as usual. WASHED and embarrassing,” one hater said just plainly. Another one just trashed the song: “This song is shit delete it.”
Others had a field day of jabs. “Are those rats flying? Can’t tell,” one commenter said, referring to an earlier viral Cardi moment. Nicki Minaj comparisons followed, with another commenter saying Cardi was “doing the same flow as her,” and calling it “weird.”
That being said, the good and bad feedback totalled out with Cardi’s loyal following showing up in full force. “BISH WE GOING OUT… Pop Out… SIDE,” a fan shouted at Cardi while others just vibed to the track. But really, when has Cardi dropped anything that didn’t spark some form of debate?
Cards dropped here are the type truly owned by Cardi—proud, obnoxious, and unbothered. You either love her or hate her; either way, she’s got people talking, and that’s all she ever really wanted. The song’s release ties well with all the teasing around the new music from Cardi, leaving fans with little to do now but float on their toes wondering what comes next.
That brought a few fans to deride the haters once more. One returned fire to the backside of that criticism, saying, “Yall took time out of yall miserable ass day to do so, because yall are obsessed.” Facts.
In the end, Cardi keeps winning. Being that she is, by herself, unapologetic. History shows that if anything, the more they disrespect her, the bigger she gets. So whether you’re here for the bars or the drama, one thing for sure right away: Cardi B isn’t going anywhere.

The track had gone out on the streets and the reactions were equally entertaining. Love her or hate her, Cardi knows how to keep the interwebs buzzing. And honestly? We wouldn’t want it any other way.
