Paris Hilton Reveals Sneaky Teenage Escapades At The Waldorf Astoria

The luxury hotel has, once again, been the theater of memories for the heiress, and let’s just say… those stories were not short of being scintillating. Paris gave some jaw-dropping behind-the-scenes accounts of her teenage days in the luxurious landmark, highlighted by some brilliant yet chaotic methods of sneaking out in the dead of night.

In a snippet from CBS Mornings, Paris confessed to wearing her brown wig, glancing away from the limited view of security cameras by running down service stairwells, before slipping out to all “the hot spots” in New York City. Classic 2000s Paris Hilton, if I may say. When Gayle King teased her about being “a little sneaky person,” Paris just shrugged off the remark accompanied by that signature giggle of hers. Truly, can anyone recall who hasn’t once felt the urge to escape a gilded cage?

This post is a pure Paris glam sight: sparkles, heart emojis, and all, while she recollects her old home. The real tea was poured in the comment section, drawing fans and friends to bombard it. Someone hilariously dubbed her “the Hannah Montana of the Hilton hotel,” sparking a whole thread of comparisons to unreal rich girls such as London Tipton and Serena van der Woodsen. (Are these comparisons accurate? Absolutely.) The other commenter screamed: “She was THE IT GIRL of all times, HELLO,” nobody can answer it at this point.

More random incidents served as a pure nostalgia crash, the fan gushing about how Paris and Nicky Hilton defined early-2000s party culture in NYC. Others were about her baby-blue suit (fashion moment!) or her fence-climbing skills that go down in history as, “the limit does not exist.” Well… Now are pouring those very few “QUEEN” comments about Paris Hilton.

Then again, not everybody was there for fluffy nostalgia. One reply took a hard turn and questioned why Paris didn’t call out Ivanka Trump during the interview. (Yikes.) Mostly though, the mood was celebratory reminiscing: hometown fans remembering her days as the original “bossbabe” and lauding her rebellious teenage antics. Because, whether with wigs sneaking about or snapping up trends, Paris has been the unapologetic one.

Definitely reopening after renovations, Waldorf Astoria sits squarely in Paris’s heart today and, due to the interview, has now become an even more famous backdrop to some of her most iconic (and sneaky) coming-of-age tales. And honestly? We wouldn’t want it any other way.

So this one goes out to Paris: still iconic, still unpredictable, and still-kindly-gifting stories that make the early ’00s look just like yesterday. Excuse us while we go binge-watch The Simple Life and question how did we ever live without this woman.
