Neil Patrick Harris is making a splash in the Tayl pet product market. The actor posted some images on social media: he was lying on the striped inflatable raft in a glittering pool, accompanied by his four dogs; all animals were clad in colors from the debut collection. That image perfectly captures the fun and warm atmosphere duly channeling Harris’s intent behind the brand: better, cooler, and more thoughtful products for pets.

Harris stormed Instagram announcing the launch, thanking those who joined in on “the big reveal.” Overflowing with enthusiasm, Harris specified that the company’s intent was to treat pets like beloved family members. Limited Edition Summer bandanas have just been released, while more await. Last but not least, the donations from the sales will go to ASPCA, so animals in need get fed and find loving homes.
The reaction was immediate and upbeat. There were cries for a special “Cute Zia bandana” by one customer, while another called it the “MUST have merch of the summer.” Scherbatsky was jokingly referenced by one remark in the style of How I Met Your Mother, “It seems that Scherbatsky left her dogs to Barney.”
One of the followers, however, seemed wary immediately upon the ground of a technical glitch-a link in Harris’s bio just wouldn’t work for them. But even so, the tone’s general feeling was all positive, stemming from the overwhelmingly cute picture and the beautiful cause behind the brand.
Harris has always been vocal about his love for his pets, and Tayl is a natural extension of that passion. Between the chic bandanas, the charitable angle, and the poolside snap that could just melt the heart of any cynic, some days this really doesn’t feel like business; it’s a party celebrating the bond between pets and people.
Growing fast, it seems, is the Tayl family, judging by the comments. Harris has really touched a nerve, whether for the promise of trendy pet accessories or the feel-good philanthropy. And now, the only question left is: What comes next? More designs? Collaborations? Possibly a doggy float for his own? Whatever it is, who can doubt these fans and their furry friends are already ready for it.
Putting the new bandanas first, if all goes according to the plan, they will probably go out of stock in a blink of an eye. So if you are lucky to have a four-legged star who needs some pampering and a quick lesson in do-gooding, then Harris’s bio is worth another attempt. Let’s just hope for a good download this time.
