Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura has many regrets. However, some of her missteps, she is now walking back from, thanks to her recent tattoo removal procedures. Now, if any of our readers are on the fence about getting any new ink this weekend, Jessi would like a word, as, where tattoos are concerned, names matter.
Jessi Ngatikaura shares her own PSA about getting ink
Whatever you do, be mindful about whose name you allow on your skin, Jessi now stresses. In a series of soon-to-expire Instagram stories, Jessi shared images and statements during her recent tattoo removal journey. As of today, Jessi is now seven tattoos less.
As Jessi penned, she has “a bunch of tattoos” that she now hates, because she got them when she was young or “just made a stupid decision, and it’s time for me to get them removed,” Jessi explained. So, she began this process by first removing an ankle tattoo. This spot took over a year to clear, Jessi revealed.
Now, Jessi feels laser-focused on her other tattoos that need to go. Specifically, a cursive “JZ” in the bend of her arm. These initials stood for Jessi and Zach Gish, her first husband, to whom she shared a life from 2014 to 2019. “Just a friendly PSA to not tattoo your significant other’s initials (or name your business after them) bc you might end up divorced!! Hehe,” Jessi wrote.
Then, Jessi shared what her tattoo spots looked like after the lasering session, writing, “After lasering, it swells, gets white and bumpy and also red!” Jessi also shared a before-and-after of an elephant tattoo that she had removed from her ankle, to highlight how the healing process goes.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is available to stream on Hulu.
