Fat Joe outputs one of his legendary stories about an epic fight with a guy who had once appeared on America’s Most Wanted. The rapper re-shared the clip reminiscing about such a wacky experience…needless to say, it is a typical Fat Joe-style narrative.

According to Joe, he arrived at the scene to fight this guy who was “all cocked and ready to go.” All of the Bronx guys were acting as spectators. Somehow, Joe confessed to being so nervous going in, that he actually thought he’d lose. But let’s face the reality: Fat Joe ended up holding his own. He laughs and says, “it is what it is” before dropping the other bombshell that he weighed 480 pounds at the time. I bet you read that right.
The caption on the post went out in honor of Noreaga, stating that the music would have been a fitting backdrop for the moment… And honestly? I agree with that.
Now here is where things get juicy. The comment section became this full-on fact-checking bureau, as fans tried to determine if this was yet another Joe’s tall tale or if the story was legit. One user named the guy: Sunkiss, a rapper who supposedly had ties with Terror Squad back then. In the user’s version, the fight went down right outside Jimmy’s Cafe in the Bronx, and while Sunkiss claimed it was a tie, everybody in the streets knew better.
Another user backed that up and said that Sunkiss admitted that he lost. That’s when the doubters started coming in, with someone joking that Joe should be inducted into the “Cap Hall of Fame,” while others compared Joe’s storytelling to that of an uncle who exaggerates-well, at least halfway.
Now, the funniest part? There was just no getting past that 480 pound declaration. That one tidbit alone sent people into paroxysms of laughter in the comment section! There was one comment referencing his weight loss journey, saying he was “big as hell” before going through the journey of shedding those extra pounds.
Not to mention that various people talked about his storytelling narrative. Several users praised him as “the best storyteller,” one said his stories are like movies, and another jokingly said that he hasn’t told a lie yet, which is crazy because you have to believe him.
Whether this story is really one-hundred percent true or just some embellishment (let’s be honest-it’s probably both), one thing is for sure that Fat Joe can entertain anybody. The way he passionately weaves his stories in detail is something one can’t go toe-to-toe with, so much so that the internet throws away anything because of it.

So the next time you hear Joe finish a story by saying, “this one’s on God,” you better sit tight! For you are in for a wild ride, truth or lies. Just like his recent interactions courtside with Remy Ma, which sparked fan reactions at a game.
