French Montana has dropped the visuals for his new single “Big Bag,” featuring Lil Durk, and the internet is just exploding. The awaited hit is bringing in waves of goodwill for Lil Durk, who is incarcerated as we speak. There is a buzz about the much-talked-hated collaboration between two bigshots of French Montana and Lil Durk, triggering conversations, memes, and calls for Durk’s release on social media.

Out with the visuals! This video allows Montana and Durk to fully express themselves, with Montana being laid back but super dominant while Durk takes emotion-level raw delivery to the airwaves. The lyrics mostly center around stature, glory bars about money, loyalties, and street cards-rappers’ usual fare. The lines “Big bag make em big mad” and “Free the voice” are already catching on with the crowd.
But the comments below the post were what turned the most heads. Some praised the track and visuals; however, the majority were centered around Lil Durk’s legal troubles. “The biggest still dropping from the feds with life ova his head,” one user wrote, referring to Durk’s continued incarceration. “Free smurk buttt ‘naaah,’” said another. Comments obviously calling for Durk’s freedom kept coming with cries such as “FREE THE GOAT” and “RAP GAME NEED HIM.”
But some did not like the ambience. One hater threw shade and said, “Carrying Montana trash ass I see,” meaning Lil Durk carried the track. A fan, on the other hand, gave props to French and said, “French Montana in the big 25.”
What a big energy to drop! Whether for the hype of the track itself or considering the united solo effort to get Lil Durk out, Big Bag is way beyond the ordinary rap visuals. There is so much fan-nitpicking of every bar and every shot that the chances of this going out of the limelight anytime soon are almost nil.

Where to next then? From the comments, it seems the demand for Lil Durk’s music and for anyone who wants him set free would not cease anytime soon. French Montana is proving once again why he’s the top dog in hip-hop. There’s a little bit for everybody here-because of the bars, because of the beats and because of the bigger picture.
