Starting Friday, August 15th, the biggest stars of Nashville, joined by doctors, scientists, and survivors, will pour day and night into music and hope to finally vanquish cancer. With the post, the very late hours of August 3rd became an Instagram affair, with fans sharing well-wishes and personal stories. “Super for this beautiful work, blessings beautiful Zoe,” one user wrote in Spanish, and second user wrote in Portuguese, “Congratulations beautiful Zoe Saldana.” It was a nonsense of comments waxing admiration of the actress and equally heartfelt experiences about cancers.
One such comment came from someone who shared very meaningful words: “Thank you @zoesaldana & @su2c. I was diagnosed with BC and going through the survival journey now. I stand up to cancer!” Another sorrowfully said, “My father died last year from lung cancer.” Even an “I lost my mother” clearly carries the weight of untold stories.
