It’s been a rollercoaster week for Denise Richards. She showed up at Aaron Phyper’s house looking for her dogs, got into an altercation with his entire family, and wound up having to speak to the police. Then, her lawyer put out a terrifying accusation that Aaron had one of Denise’s dogs put down without her permission.
Aaron immediately denied it, and he said that Denise’s lawyer told a flat-out lie. Now, the story has shifted. The dog did die, but Aaron said it wasn’t his fault.
Aaron Phypers claims Denise Richards “hasn’t interacted with the animals in two years”
In an interview with People, Aaron made more scathing accusations against the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. He already said she had an affair with her trainer from Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. This seems even more sinister.
“Denise hasn’t interacted with the animals in two years and never has wanted knowledge or wanted to give her permission to any type of care for the animals,” Aaron said in response to the claims about her dog getting put down.
A separate source confirmed that a dog named Melanie did pass away recently. However, they explained it was because she was old and sick. They said the headlines insinuating that Aaron did something wrong are inaccurate.
“Melanie, a sweet elder dog who Aaron loved, had late-stage cancer and was suffering when he took her for help as the vet insisted the few days she had left being in pain were better met with putting her to sleep and off to heaven,” the source claimed. “It was a painful decision. To say she was ‘put down’ is hurtful.”
On RHOBH, we learned that Denise and Aaron were parents to a multitude of animals, including a handful of rescue dogs, a couple of pigs, a cat, and at one point, she even had a horse. The idea that she hasn’t interacted with any of these animals in two years seems odd. Either way, this situation just adds another messy layer onto this bitter divorce.
