Below Deck Season 12 Episode 12 Recap

Welcome back! This week on Below Deck Season 12 Episode 12, Kyle begins his apology tour following his antics from last week. However, his journey quickly sours. Sadly, the yacht is also struggling. If the St. David is out of operation, this series could end up dead in the water. Here is everything that happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 12, “Dock It Like It’s Hot.”

What happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 12?

Whatever Kyle did ot did not do, his job remains secure (for now). In the interior, Solène steps things up in a big way. Meanwhile, the yacht is experiencing technical issues, leaving Fraser to deal with their cranky guests. Sadly, Anthony is not faring any better, as his anxiety is threatening to destroy his mental headspace in the galley.

New guests are coming aboard. Anthony prepares for their arrival as Hugo grabs Jess for a chat. Jess admits to sleeping in the same bunk as Bárbara. Hugo reminds her that she is in a leadership position, so she needs to do better.

Kyle finds Solène, eager to apologize. Solène accepts, but in her interview, she jokes that he is just a “stupid” man.

The new guests arrive. Captain Kerry starts disembarkation. Unfortunately, the yacht has a technical issue. The engineers arrive to troubleshoot.

Bárbara asks Solène to see if they are good. They are, Solène answers. But Solène does blame Jess, she notes.

Captain Kerry calls Hugo and Fraser to the wheelhouse. “The yacht is now stuck. I don’t know when we can leave, but I know it’s not today. And this could kill our season,” he explains.

The guests are frustrated. Anthony realizes that he now has a huge task ahead of him, trying to make these guests happy.

Rain starts falling as the engineers and deck team assist with the yacht. Inside, Anthony serves lunch. Thankfully, the guests love everything he prepares.

Captain Kerry receives a text. The wing station controller is bad, but a new one will arrive tomorrow, it reads. “Let’s go hard, and let’s make some magic,” Fraser resolves.

The deck team starts pulling out the water toys. This task is not easy, since the yacht remains at the dock. As Hugo and Kyle deliberate, the guests inquire about the jet skis. Several hours later, the skis are still not out.

Instead, the guests will now take a sunset cruise, Fraser decides. Solène joins Fraser on this cruise. They live it up on the tender, finally making their guests smile.

Captain Kerry receives another text. The part will not ship until tomorrow. He sighs. The primary couple is celebrating their 10th anniversary, with the bride wearing her wedding dress. They invite Captain Kerry to join them for dinner.

Dinner is a hit. However, garbage bags have piled up. Anthony needs someone from the exterior team to take them away. Following several unanswered calls, Hugo finally responds, but does not immediately get up to help.

Jumping in for the unexpected save, Solène heaves all of the trash bags over her shoulder, taking them off the yacht to a nearby dumpster. Angry, Anthony locates Hugo. Hugo remains professional. But in his confessional, he labels “these spirals” Anthony entertains as “f*cked up.”

Jess and Bárbara cuddle. Not wanting to witness their bliss, Solène stays up, helping Rainbeau clean. Rainbeau is thrilled. “The b*tch is working,” she jokes.

The next day, the guests start whispering. They paid a lot of money for a boat that does not move, one says. Sadly, they are about to feel even worse. Another text chimes, saying that the part is running even further behind.

Captain Kerry calls Fraser and Hugo back into the wheelhouse. “We’ve got to do something good today,” he demands. In the galley, Anthony tells Rainbeau that he appreciates hearing feedback, but Rainbeau cuts him off, announcing that she does not have time for his speech. As she walks away, Anthony asks, “Excuse me?”

The bride wanted to jump off the yacht in her wedding dress. She and her husband leap from a tender boat instead. Their requested 70s-themed dinner arrives. Once again, they have no notes for Anthony.

Trying to give his guests some good news, Captain Kerry makes a call to score them a discount. But at the bar, the guests are already agreeing that they will not tip for this charter. When they reveal this idea to Captain Kerry, he stands up for his crew, but one guest pushes back, demanding something in return. Here, Captain Kerry reveals that he has already placed a call to grant them relief.

The guests depart, praising the crew. On the yacht, Anthony talks with Damo. Earlier, Damo disparaged the food choices Anthony prepares for the crew, but as Anthony explains, “I’m not the b*tch here.”

Damo apologizes. However, other crew members are also frustrated, but Fraser asks them to stay silent for now. Sitting for their tip meeting, Bárbara ignores Fraser and asks Anthony what time lunch is. “Go f*ck yourselves,” Anthony responds, leaving.

Fraser and Jess bring him back. Captain Kerry arrives, revealing that the guests tipped, but only $19K. Anthony apologizes and makes a solid lunch that everyone loves.

In his cabin, Kyle starts drinking while soundbites from his storyline with Helen play. At dinner later, Kyle stands, announcing that he feels proud that he “got away with something.”

But then he turns to Fraser, quipping that Fraser did him in. Fraser asks Kyle to explain what he means as Damo speaks up to take the fall. “It’s f*cking both your fault,” Kyle says. Mad, Fraser exits. Jess asks the cameras to grant him some space.

Below Deck continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
