How to Raise Heart Levels in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, as with most life simulation games, one of the most fun things to do is romance other characters and start a relationship that can eventually lead to marriage and a family. With eight different options to choose from, the player has plenty of options, but first, they must increase their hearts.

Increasing hearts is the only way to pursue different characters and raise their relationship meter. This is very important to gameplay as players must propose to one of the candidates in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life before the completion of year one, if they have not done so on their own by the end of the first year then they will be forced to select someone at that point.

How To Increase Hearts

Since players are free to romance anyone regardless of gender and can even play as non-binary in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, they may choose any of the eight candidates to make progress with. Players may even choose to increase hearts with more than one potential candidate, but beware that some may take offense if they don’t end up being the ultimate choice while others will be happy no matter what.

Each character is going to have a handful of items that they will love and be grateful to receive. Though it differs among all of them, Flowers are often a safe bet as almost all the characters like them. Beware of gifting anything that players may not favor because they are likely to reject it, and it will not be doing players any favors.

While increasing hearts in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, players may periodically check their status in the menu under the resident’s tab. For marriage, the goal will be at least eight hearts which will push players out of the friendship category on the relationship meter.

Players may gift several gifts to characters in one day as long as the gifts vary. In order to give a gift, players will need to do more than just have it in their inventory. Instead, they will need to be physically holding the item they wish to gift and then approach the desired character at which point the gifting option will be available.

The option to gift will be verified, so there is no need to worry about accidentally gifting something to the wrong character. Once hearts have been increased sufficiently with one of the Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life characters, players will be able to successfully propose and start their families.
