A pair of action movie icons collide in the newly released trailer for Exit Protocol. The action outing, which, based on the footage, is rightfully unafraid to lean into its B-movie sensibilities, finds The Expendables and Rocky IV star Dolph Lundgren who finds himself in the crosshairs of The Dark Knight and Never Back Down: No Surrender star Michael Jai White. Yes, your wishes have all come true.
The trailer was shared to X/Twitter by Lundgren and White’s co-star Charlotte Kirk (Vice, The Juice), who captioned the footage, “I’m so excited to share the official trailer for Exit Protocol a badass action assassin film starring Dolph Lundgren, Michael Jai White, and myself.” Alongside them stars Lina Maya (Art of Love), Stephanie Beran (Big Kill) and Aaron McPherson (One in the Chamber).
But the action movie pedigree of Exit Protocol doesn’t stop there, with Scott Mastin and Shane Dax Taylor (who both stars and directs) also featuring in the action flick. Both are known for their prior work with Lundgren in the 2023 action thriller The Best Man. Lastly, the script has been penned by action aficionado Chad Law, whose previous genre outings include Section 8, Lights Out, The Getback, and more.
‘Exit Protocol’ Finds Dolph Lundgren on the Run
Exit Protocol is all set to explode into in select theaters and on VOD November 7, 2025. In the meantime, you can check out the official synopsis below…

Based on the trailer, Exit Protocol looks like the perfect no-nonsense set up to get bullets and fists flying as quickly as possible while the pair of action powerhouses, Dolph Lundgren and Michael Jai White, are rapidly thrown towards each other for what’s sure to be a brutal action movie melee.
Both Dolph Lundgren and Michael Jai White have been staples of the action thriller world for decades now. And neither of them is showing any signs of slowing down. Lundgren is all set to star in the likes of the Kevin Spacey-directed sci-fi action outing Holiguards Saga — The Portal of Force; the action thriller Hellfire, in which he’ll share the screen with Avatar’s Stephen Lang and Pulp Fiction star Harvey Keitel; and is expected to feature in a cameo in Amazon’s upcoming reboot of Masters of the Universe.
Michael Jai White, meanwhile, will once again demonstrate his particular set of skills in the assassin thriller Hostile Takeover, as well as reuniting with Exit Protocol writer Chad Law for the thriller The Hook; will come to aid of a terrified share ride passenger being hunted by human traffickers in Drive Through Fire; lead the revenge tale Father, Where Art Thou?; and feature in the superbly titled Karate Ghost.
