Missy Goes Drinking & Smoking In New Young Sheldon Season 6, Episode 20 Clip

CBS releases a new Young Sheldon season 6, episode 20 clip which sees Missy going out to drink and smoke. The only Cooper daughter is officially in her rebellious era, as described in The Big Bang Theory. After her daring joyride with Paige, she now brazenly sneaks out at night to go hang out with a friend.

Spending time with her new pal is okay, but the Young Sheldon season 6, episode 20, “German for Beginners and a Crazy Old Man with a Bat,” clip reveals that they do more than that. Watch the video below:

The official synopsis and image for Young Sheldon season 6 episode 20 confirm that Missy will find a new friend in Medford. No additional details have been revealed about the latest addition to the series. However, it sounds like she just moved to town, and isn’t a good influence on Missy.

Why Is Young Sheldon Season 6 Ruining Missy?

Time and again, Missy has proven that she is the best Cooper. While she isn’t as intellectually gifted as Sheldon, she is the most well-rounded out of Mary and George’s kids. She’s charming, funny, witty, and emotionally mature. Ignoring her has been the biggest mistake that CBS has committed in The Big Bang Theory prequel. Young Sheldon season 6 attempts to rectify that, but in a bad way.

Instead of giving Missy regular lighthearted narratives, Young Sheldon seems to be keen on ruining the character. Granted that Georgie did describe her as a “dumb teenager” in The Big Bang Theory, but there was an assumption that her rebellious phase started after George’s death. Now, it seems like CBS is just making her look bad for the sake of it. For what it’s worth, her parents haven’t really addressed her issue of feeling neglected.

Mary is being dubbed as the overall villain of The Big Bang Theory franchise because she coddled Sheldon. That resulted in her barely paying attention to Missy, which has been her biggest gripe with her mom. As she further goes down this dark path of smoking and drinking, hopefully, George recognizes her problem and tries to address it before his inevitable death in Young Sheldon.
