While fans of the franchise are still patiently waiting for the anime’s return, the manga has been releasing new chapters every three months. The manga will be releasing its next three chapters in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA Fall 2025 magazine.
The manga’s previous batch of chapters were heavily focused on Asta’s recovery. After Lucius injured him, Asta’s allies took to the battlefield to face off against Lucius, his Paladins, and the Guardian Angels. In the meantime, Mimosa Vermillion healed Asta using her Healing Magic. While she lacked the mana, Charmy Pappitson helped her out.
With the Black Clover manga soon set to release its next batch of chapters, here is everything fans can expect to witness as part of the manga’s next big update.
Asta Will Rejoin the Fight in Black Clover’s Next Chapters
As seen in the manga’s previous chapters, after Lucius Zogratis injured Asta, Yuno teleported his rival to Mimosa so that he could get healed. While Mimosa had some trouble healing Asta, she succeeded in her mission with some help from Charmy and others.
Soon after Asta recovered, he equipped his Demon-Slasher Katana and gave out a warcry, warning Lucius that he was coming after him. Therefore, it is highly likely that Asta will rejoin Yuno in the fight against Lucius Zogratis.
That said, the manga has yet to confirm Liebe’s status. As fans must recall, the last time he was seen in the manga, he too, was injured at the hands of Lucius. So, depending on whether Liebe is healed, Asta may or may not use his Devil Union.
Mereoleona Vermillion May Clash Against Her Former Friend in the Next Chapters
As fans may recall, earlier in the manga, Mereoleona Vermillion was facing off against Paladin Moris Libardirt while Noelle Silva was facing off against her mother Acier. However, after the Diamond Kingdom mages engaged Moris and Acier was no longer herself, Mereoleona decided to takover Noelle’s fight.
The anime had previously stated how Mereoleona had a good relationship with Acier Sliva. Acier used to train Mereoleona, and despite her elemental weakness against Mereoleona’s magic, the former Silver Eagle Captain never lost a fight.
Therefore, the possible upcoming battle between Mereoleona Vermillion and Paladin Acier Silva could act as the final showdown between the two characters. Such a fight could also act as a catalyst to showcase more scenes from their shared past. Hence, fans may have a lot to uncover in the upcoming chapters.
Noelle Silva Might Join Asta in the Fight Against Lucius Zogratis
Asta has been shipped with several female characters in Black Clover. However, the two main ones are Noelle Silva and Mimosa Vermillion. While Mimosa had wanted to support Asta for the longest time, Noelle wanted to become strong enough to fight alongside him. This is exactly what has been happening in the manga.
The manga’s previous chapters saw Mimosa healing Asta, essentially doing what she had wanted to do all this time. In the meantime, after seeing Asta get slashed by Lucius, Noelle expressed that she was going to join him next for the fight. While this development faced a speedbump due to Paladin Acier Silva’s return, Mereoleona took over Noelle’s fight, allowing her to join Asta.
That said, as fans may recollect, just as Acier Silva returned, Noelle was shown thinking to herself that she had no mana left. Hence, the manga’s next chapter could open with Noelle either going to Mimosa or Charmy to get her mana replenished. Right after, fans can expect her to fight alongside Asta for the first in forever.
Asta Might Share His Ant-Magic With Noelle
As fans may recall, Asta is capable of sharing his Anti-Magic with the people closest to him. As such, he has already shared his powers with his rival Yuno Grinberryall and members of his Magic Knight Squad, Black Bulls.
Amidst this, the one character Asta has yet to share his powers with is Noelle Silva. Fans have already seen Noelle’s new form, Valkyrie Armor Dragon Form. Hence, it is very likely that they may get to see an Anti-Magic version of the same in the manga’s next batch of chapters.
The question is, how will Asta’s Anti-Magic change Noelle’s Valkyrie Armor Dragon Form? Will the shared power only add Anti-Magic attributes to her spells, or will it cause a change to her transformation appearance-wise as well?
Asta’s Allies Will Take on the Paladins and the Guardian Angels
The manga’s previous batch of chapters saw the Diamond Kingdom Mages arrive in the Clover Kingdom to assist Asta. During this, the manga gave fans a first look at Feremena, the host of the Earth Spirit. Soon after, the manga saw the Diamond Kingdom mages fight Paladin Moris Libardirt.
Hence, the manga might pick up from there and showcase Feremena and the Earth Spirit’s abilities during their fight against Moris. With that, fans may also get a look at Mars and others’ possible new abilities.
Not to forget, Patry and Rhya were also shown arriving in the Clover Kingdom to help Asta. Therefore, the manga’s next chapters could also give fans a glimpse of the elves, showcasing who they will be fighting during the battle.
While it is unlikely that the manga will cover all these events, it has become obvious that the final battle is inching towards its conclusion. Hence, fans can expect the manga creator to delve into most of these developments, giving each character a proper conclusion to their story arcs.
