Bentley has introduced a new form of automotive artistry. The Ombré by Mulliner Collection arrives at Bentley Rancho Mirage, showing a fresh vision for bespoke luxury. It focuses on color that moves effortlessly across the bodywork. The effect gives each car motion, even while standing still.
The Ombré finish blends one shade into another with a smooth, graceful transition. It takes more than 60 hours to complete and is done entirely by hand. Two specialists work together to ensure the fade stays even, balanced, and flawless. Their attention creates a result that looks natural and precise under any light.
This collection includes three models. Each features a unique color story inspired by California’s landscape and lifestyle. The Continental GTC Speed fades from Sunburst Gold to Orange Flame. It recalls painted canyons and warm desert horizons. Inside, the front cabin uses Sunburst Gold leather. The rear moves into Orange with Tangerine stitching for contrast. With the top down, the color shift feels alive.
The Continental GT Speed moves from Topaz to Windsor Blue. It reflects the change from daylight to deep ocean water along the Pacific Coast. The interior follows the same path, shifting from bright Topaz to a rich Ocean Blue. Dragon Fly accents add a refined spark throughout the cabin.
The Flying Spur Speed uses Tungsten and Onyx for a cooler effect. It hints at evening skies and the calm before night sets in. The front seats are finished in Porpoise hide, while the rear uses dark Anthracite. Stratos piping and stitching add a sharp and modern highlight.
Every detail supports the color theme. The 22-inch wheels continue the gradient from front to back. Satin Beluga veneers create texture and a soft finish around the console and dash. Even the treadplates reveal a subtle visual connection when the doors open.
This project also shows how far Mulliner can push personalized craftsmanship. Each color behaves differently, so the experts must adjust their technique as they work. No two Ombré commissions will ever look exactly the same. That individuality remains a key reason collectors choose Bentley.
“As one of the largest dealers in the U.S., we want to offer something fresh that our clients have never seen,” says Jason Cammisa, Managing Director of Bentley Rancho Mirage. “This work with Mulliner reveals new creative possibilities for bespoke design. It shows what can happen when imagination leads.”
The Ombré by Mulliner Collection is now available to commission through Bentley retailers worldwide. It opens the door to a future where color becomes a new form of personal expression. For those who seek something truly one-of-a-kind, this is luxury in motion.
