Democrats’ Epstein email release: Letters

The Issue: House Democrats’ selective release of Jeffrey Epstein emails mentioning President Trump.

The far-left anti-Trump media in this country and abroad are completely useless in reporting an objective news story (“ ‘Dem block’ on Jeff files,” Nov. 14).

The Democrats have long exhausted any credibility they have in being believed.

In contrast, President Trump — guilty or not of any infraction involving Jeffrey Epstein — has earned the right to get an automatic free pass and the benefit of the doubt for the rest of his life.

Eugene Dunn

Glen Burnie, Md.

Epstein was a blackmailer who tried to extort Bill Gates and others.

He used information he had on famous, wealthy and politically powerful men to entrap them for financial gain.

If Epstein were alive today and on trial, his testimony would have no credibility.

After four years of Dems running the White House, with the legacy media in lock step with them, one would have to speculate that if there were a smoking gun, they would have released it ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

All Dems did was regurgitate an already published statement with the victim’s name redacted.

The truth is that they have nothing left except for blatant bald-faced lies and empty promises.

No matter how much evidence surfaces about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, Trump denies everything. Meanwhile, the MAGA Republicans, and the New York Post continue to defend him.

In addition to Trump, anyone else involved with Epstein needs to be held accountable.

Release the files.

Kreg Ramone

Trump and the Republicans won again by getting the government back up and running.

So what do the Democrats do? They fabricate another hoax with Epstein files to try to get to Trump.

Just when you think they can’t do anything dumber, they prove you wrong.

Bob Robustelli

Stamford, Conn.

From “Russiagate” to the more recent BBC scandal and the selective release of certain Epstein files, the so-called mainstream media has continually shown their disregard for journalistic ethics in their zeal to “get” Trump.

This is one of the main factors driving people away from traditional media to streaming services, podcasts and other alternative news outlets.

The Issue: Jack Schlossberg’s bid for Congress in New York’s 12th District.

Entitled political nepo baby Jack Schlossberg was always going to be in politics (“It’s Camelot but cosplay,” Kirsten Fleming, Nov. 13).

Yet the Kennedy name no longer conjures the romance of Camelot, and this punk has done all he can to make sure that it’s dead.

If I were him, I’d be careful what I wish for; it seems like the family still suffers from the “Kennedy curse” that began with his great grandpa Joe.

James Schwartz

Summit, NJ

Schlossberg, another lefty New York wannabe political loon, is entering the world of politics.

The Kennedy family dynasty is over.

Camelot has morphed into “Came-verylittleleft.”

All that remains of the Kennedy name is RFK Jr., who is making America healthier.

JR Cummings

Manhattan

Slimy, creepy social media posts and a self-absorbed, narcissistic countenance — we may have another Anthony Weiner on our hands in Schlossberg.

Joe Trainor

Flushing
