It’s a brand new Sunday Wordle, and today’s answer might just cause a few people to lose their long-standing win streaks. Today’s Wordle word is undoubtedly something that is well known, but not something used in common conversation, unless you happen to work in a certain business.
There are all sorts of ways that the game of Wordle can be harder one day and not another. Using less common letters, or oddly spelled versions of words. Repeated letters are also often used to throw a player off their game. Many players prefer more of a challenge and use Wordle‘s Hard Mode just to make the game more difficult for themselves every day. However you may prefer it, Wordle has certainly continued to provide a nice daily break in many players’ routines.
Today’s Wordle Hints (July 16th #757)
For those players that need a little help, and don’t want today’s Wordle answer just given to them, we have a few hints to help out.

Today’s Wordle Answer (July 16th #757)
Today’s Wordle answer is TOPAZ.
Another great word, and one that took us a little longer than usual with that Z. For our starting Wordle word we used IRATE which provided two letters that were just in the wrong position. Moving forward for the second guess we tried TALON, this locked in the ‘T’ and added another misplaced vowel.
Despite our Wordle win-in-three with the correct answer, we stared at the screen dumbfounded for at least 10 minutes. Moving the letters around in our brain we just couldn’t lock in that ‘Z’, it wasn’t until we tried the word TOPAL, and was laughed at by the shaking “Not in word list” that we realized and quickly slapped the ‘Z’ in. Another successful day!
