A new fan-created Lies of P Nexus Mod has officially introduced the game’s most-requested feature: seamless online cooperative multiplayer. The new mod from EmberWave released just days ago in its Alpha stage, allowing co-op boss battles, with ongoing updates expected to make a fully integrated co-op mode possible.

While the Lies of P co-op mod is still in early development, the current Alpha build allows players to take on a ton of the game’s bosses with another person online, similar to a FromSoft title like Demon’s Souls or Elden Ring boss fight summons. At the moment, boss fight co-op is going to be the best multiplayer option for Lies of P, but development on the mod is ongoing, with a seamless full cooperative mode already in the works. This would allow you to play the entire game alongside another player as opposed to just boss fights, and you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on the mod’s progress for the full co-op mode to release.
