Poland: Five killed after plane crashes into hangar where people were sheltering during bad weather | World News

Five people have been killed and eight injured after a plane crashed into a hangar where people were sheltering during stormy weather in Poland.

The Cessna 208’s pilot died, alongside four others who were inside the skydiving centre on Monday afternoon.

A child is among those hurt following the crash in the village of Chrcynno, and two people were seriously injured.

Firefighters are continuing to search the hangar for additional victims.

It is the worst skydiving-related accident in Poland for nine years.

Back in 2014, 11 people died when a small plane crashed in Topolow, near the southern city of Czestochowa.
