As the two become more involved in each other’s lives, issues arise as other friends get involved and past secrets are revealed.
James Sweeney’s Twinless won over critics for its sharp visuals and emotionally resonant storytelling. The latter, Bianca Piazza, praised in her review for MovieWeb, stating, “Sweeney’s storytelling abilities are astounding, and every interaction feels acutely intentional.” Starting as a quirky indie drama that shifts into darker territory, the movie is the ideal addition to Hulu for those looking for films that challenge genre conventions and welcome introspection. ‘The Beauty’ (Season 1)

While the upcoming FX series The Beauty has yet to drop a trailer, it has certainly caught the eye of many, as it is co-created by Ryan Murphy, of American Horror Story and Netflix’s Monster fame. Here, a deadly virus is affecting models, prompting FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) to travel to Paris to investigate. It is here they discover a sexually transmitted virus that turns people beautiful, but with deadly consequences that begin to spring up globally.
Set to go into some dark territory, including the unraveling of a thrilling conspiracy around an eccentric billionaire played by Ashton Kutcher and an outsider, Jeremy (Jeremy Pope), finding himself caught in the middle of a deadly virus, The Beauty aims to be a must-watch and talked-about TV show. The premise also alludes to an ideal blend of provocation and social commentary, all done in a mix of styles that blends police procedural, sci-fi, and body horror. The first three episodes of The Beauty will be available to stream on Hulu on January 21, 2026.
