Kacey Musgraves dropped a single-line teaser on Instagram today, and the “Mexico Honey” visual era is officially loading.

The Grammy-winning country-pop star’s post read “Mexico Honey video loading… 🍯.” No premiere date was attached, and no creative details came with it. The announcement alone was enough to get her audience moving.

That’s the thing about Kacey Musgraves, fam. She doesn’t need a full rollout to get people talking. She drops one line, and her fanbase does the rest. She’s built that kind of trust over a long run of records that consistently deliver.

“Mexico Honey” has been a standout in her current era. The song carries that signature Kacey sound – dreamy, a little cosmic. A music video announcement keeps the conversation going and extends the life of a track her fans are already deep into.

Kacey Musgraves claimed Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammys for “Golden Hour.” That record put her in a different tier. She followed it with “star-crossed” in 2021, a concept album framed around the stages of a relationship ending. Critics took notice and her audience grew. Her reputation as an artist who takes creative risks and delivers on them has only gotten stronger since.

Her music videos have always matched that ambition. They fit the mood of her songs without being too literal. They’re cinematic without being heavy-handed. She’s given her audience some genuinely striking visuals over the years. A “Mexico Honey” visual from that same creative space has real potential.

No details have surfaced about a director or release timeline. Kacey offered nothing beyond that honey emoji. For her, that kind of restraint is a familiar move.

The timing works in Kacey’s favor. Summer is in full swing, and a music video for a song called “Mexico Honey” fits the season almost too well. There’s a reason artists save their biggest visual moments for summer.

Kacey has been measured with her pacing in 2026. She hasn’t been flooding her feed or chasing the algorithm. Each move she makes feels considered. This teaser is no different. It’s a signal that there’s more coming, and the “Mexico Honey” era isn’t done yet.

No official premiere date has been confirmed as of today. Keep it locked to her Instagram for updates, fam. Based on everything Kacey Musgraves has delivered before, this one is going to be worth the wait.

Paris Jackson released her new single “stitched” on Thursday, keeping the announcement short and personal on Instagram.

Her caption said: “my latest single stitched is out now :)”

That low-key rollout fits the artist Paris has been steadily building herself into. She performs under the name 𝚙𝚔 and has spent the past several years expanding her solo catalog. Her 2020 debut EP “Wilted” introduced her as a songwriter with an ear for emotional, acoustic-leaning music. She’s kept putting out work in that same spirit ever since.

The title “stitched” points somewhere reparative: mending and healing, putting pieces back together. It sounds like familiar territory for Paris. Her writing has always had that quality of sitting with something difficult.

She’s 28 now, and her path in music has been one of gradual self-definition. Being Michael Jackson’s daughter comes with an enormous weight. Paris has never shied away from that reality. But her music career has always been its own thing. She’s written from her own experience and worked with collaborators who fit her sound. The work has stayed honest throughout.

Her music has consistently leaned away from the glossy, radio-ready lane. Her last name could have opened those doors easily. She’s taken a different path, and “Wilted” made that clear from the start. Every release since has pointed in the same direction.

She’s also been active outside music. Film and television roles have added to her profile over the years. She’s been vocal on social causes and has built connections in the art world too. She’s a creative who doesn’t stay in one lane. Music keeps pulling her back, though.

The casual tone of Thursday’s announcement won’t surprise her longtime followers. Paris communicates with her audience the way she might text a friend: warm and direct, without much fanfare. She announced it was out. A smiley face was all she added.

No album context or tour news came with the post. Paris has always released music on her own timeline. Her discography has grown without much noise around it.

Long-term listeners have watched her develop her own distinct sound. It’s folky and emotionally honest. The songs tend to be spare, not overproduced. “stitched” will likely feel right at home in that catalog.

She started releasing music around 2020 with the “Wilted” EP. At that point, observers were quick to wonder how much of the attention was tied to her last name. Six years into a real recording career, she’s answered that question with consistency. The music keeps coming, and it keeps sounding like her.

Paris hasn’t confirmed whether “stitched” connects to a larger project. No album announcement came with the release. More details could follow in the coming weeks, or the single might stand alone. Either way, “stitched” is out. The title alone makes it worth a listen.

Tom Hanks posted a 70th birthday tribute on Instagram Thursday and dropped a coffee deal in the same breath. He never named the person.

The caption was punchy: “This guy turns 70 TODAY. Great music. Good coffee. Good cause!” He tagged Boss Radio 66 and his own coffee brand, Hanks, and kept it moving.

The post doesn’t name or tag the birthday person anywhere. They remain a complete mystery.

Whoever this guy is, he’s got Tom Hanks shouting him out to millions of followers. Not many celebrities do that for someone unknown to the public. Not a bad birthday gift at all.

Here’s the fun part. Hanks himself turned 70 on July 9 – that’s literally yesterday. So this unnamed person is hitting 70 on the exact same weekend as one of the most famous actors alive. His own milestone didn’t come with a big public announcement. Instead, the day after his birthday, he’s using his platform to spotlight someone else’s. That’s kind of sweet!

The promotion built into the post is simple. Hanks told followers to tune into Boss Radio 66 to pick up a 20% discount code for his Hanks coffee brand. Listen to some music, grab the code, save on your next order. Pretty cool setup!

Boss Radio 66 is a classic hits station. It leans toward older decades of music – exactly the kind of stuff Hanks has always been into. He’s talked for years about his love for classic music and earlier pop culture. He published a novel in 2023 called “The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece.” It tapped into that same affection for the past. A collab with a retro-leaning radio station fits the whole picture.

The Hanks coffee brand carries his name and is available through the @hanks account. The 20% off deal gives followers a real reason to actually tune in and track down that code.

Hanks also flagged a “good cause” in the caption. There’s a charitable element tied to this campaign. He didn’t name the organization in the post. The details might come through in the Boss Radio 66 broadcast. The whole thing is a bit of a treasure hunt. It makes the campaign feel genuinely fun rather than like a standard promo push.

As for the mystery birthday person: nobody outside Hanks’ circle seems to know. Could be a close friend. Could be a longtime collaborator. Could be someone completely outside showbiz. Hanks isn’t offering more context. The vagueness is either very charming or very intentional. Probably both.

Hanks has one of the most celebrated careers in film history. Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Philadelphia, Saving Private Ryan. He’s been the anchor of some of the biggest movies of the past four decades. His social media presence is a completely different thing. It’s casual and occasionally hard to decode. This post is a good example of both.

Happy 70th to whoever you are.

LE SSERAFIM kicked off July 7 with a simple question for their Instagram followers. The caption, written in Korean, asked: “Do you believe in bangs?” Paired with two hashtags – one in Japanese, one in English – the post was as minimal as they get. It still earned more than 154,000 likes.

For a text-only caption with no image to anchor it, 154,000-plus likes is a strong number. It reflects how far the group’s reach has grown over four years in the industry. They debuted under HYBE’s Source Music label in May 2022, and they’ve been building from there.

LE SSERAFIM has five members: Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. Two of them, Sakura and Kazuha, are Japanese. That’s part of why multilingual content feels natural coming from this group. Their audience stretches across Korea, Japan, and a growing number of international markets. The mix of languages in a single caption reflects that spread.

Their discography has grown steadily since FEARLESS. Follow-up mini-albums ANTIFRAGILE and UNFORGIVEN expanded their profile in the K-pop space. They’ve also toured internationally and built a streaming presence that extends well beyond South Korea.

The hashtags in Monday’s post are the part that might mean something. #CUTIESTREET reads like a concept or campaign name. It could point to a photo series, a merchandise line, or the opening move of a new rollout.

That doesn’t necessarily mean either tag is significant. K-pop groups use offhand hashtags on casual posts between major releases all the time. It’s a common way to stay active. Whether #CUTIESTREET shows up again on their feed is the thing to watch.

The bangs question itself is the kind of thing that travels easily. Hair is a topic that works in any language, and this one is especially easy to have an opinion on. “Do you believe in bangs?” lands clearly no matter what language you read it in first.

No official follow-up has been posted as of Monday evening. Source Music hasn’t commented publicly on what the hashtags refer to. More posts under #CUTIESTREET could turn up this week. That would be a good sign something bigger is coming.

Mark Bradford didn’t walk straight from school into an art career. He spent years in his mother’s hair salon in Leimert Park, a neighborhood in South Los Angeles with a rich history in Black art and culture. He enrolled in formal arts education at age 31.

That backstory matters, friends. It shaped everything about what Bradford makes and why he makes it.

His most ambitious work yet is now on display inside the Museum at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. It’s a monumental painting covering the entire three-story west wall of the Our Story Atrium.

The Obama Foundation released a studio visit with Bradford this week. In the video, Bradford explains the process behind creating a monumental work at this scale.

Bradford doesn’t work with traditional canvas and paint. He builds from ordinary materials – hairdressing end papers, found signage pulled from streets, and construction materials.

These aren’t arbitrary choices. They’re a way of centering communities that formal art institutions have long overlooked.

The hairdressing papers are particularly personal. Bradford handled them in his mother’s shop growing up.

They’re thin tissue sheets used in hair salons – not the kind of thing that usually ends up in a museum. Bradford makes sure they do.

That’s the core of his work. He takes the materials and textures of everyday life in overlooked neighborhoods and brings them somewhere they’re not expected.

His work now appears in major museums and collections around the world. The materials still trace back to Leimert Park. Bradford became one of the most recognized names in contemporary art without leaving those origins behind.

Here’s the part that matters most for real people. Bradford’s painting sits in a section of the museum that is completely free and open to the public.

No ticket. No reservation. The campus brings together art, athletics, green spaces, and civics programming – and the door is open to everyone.

That three-story scale is genuinely hard to picture. The west wall of the Our Story Atrium runs the full height of three floors. Bradford’s painting covers it completely.

The Obama Foundation called Bradford one of the most prominent voices in contemporary art today. That’s accurate. His work shows up in institutions around the world.

But the Presidential Center installation carries a different kind of weight. It’s permanent and it’s public – free to anyone who wants to come see it in person.

Bradford didn’t come up through the expected pipeline. He came through a hair salon in South Los Angeles. He started his formal education later than most.

He’s spent his career making sure overlooked people and places end up somewhere they can be seen. The three-story wall at the Obama Presidential Center is the biggest version of that work yet.

For upcoming talks and programming at the campus, the Obama Foundation’s website at obama.org/whats-on has details and registration options.

Jerrod Carmichael put three words on Instagram on Monday: “Let us in.” A hashtag carrying his own name came with it. That was the full extent of the post.

His public moves have consistently carried weight. Dropping this phrase without any explanation attached is, for him, a calculated act. Carmichael has long built his career around carefully controlled moments, and his work reflects that at every turn.

His NBC sitcom “The Carmichael Show” ran from 2015 to 2017 and earned him a reputation for tackling uncomfortable topics with surprising directness. The show drew comparisons to family comedies of an earlier era. It gave him a broader television audience and set the stage for what followed.

The clearest example of that careful approach is his 2022 HBO special “Rothaniel.” He came out as gay during it, on camera. The format was bare and conversational, far more intimate than the typical stand-up setup under a spotlight. It was widely praised as a landmark special, with many calling it one of the best comedy specials in years. At the time, it felt like a milestone not just for Carmichael but for the form itself. The special brought him to a wider audience and solidified his standing as one of the most interesting voices in comedy.

He hosted the 80th Golden Globes in January 2023. The night got attention for his approach to the ceremony. His handling of the host role leaned provocative and landed with mixed reactions, some admiring and some critical. He has kept a lower public profile since, posting sparingly.

Carmichael is not a frequent social media presence. Any post he does put out tends to carry weight.

The post circulated quietly, without the viral spread that would typically follow a major announcement. Those three words haven’t broken wide yet.

The caption carries an obvious implication of access, but to what remains open. It could be pointing toward a new project, an upcoming announcement, or something more personal. No clarification has emerged from Carmichael’s team.

His record suggests the phrasing is intentional. He doesn’t post carelessly. “Rothaniel” was years in the making, built around a very specific idea at its center. The Golden Globes set was built around a clear, studied point of view. A bare, three-word caption with a self-referential hashtag reads more like a signal than an idle thought.

What the signal is pointing to remains the unanswered question. The phrase implies there is something to let the audience into. The reveal, like most things with Carmichael, will come on his schedule.

Serena Williams has a message for anyone landing in Miami for the World Cup: she’s already done the restaurant research.

The tennis legend teamed up with Airbnb to build a curated dining guide for Miami visitors this summer. “Miami is hitting different this World Cup,” she wrote on Instagram this week. She listed four local spots she’d chosen with Airbnb.

The guide is short but covers the right bases. Chevré Miami earns the first recommendation for its grilled cheese with caviar – elevated and a little indulgent. Miami has a knack for making over-the-top comfort food work, and this fits right in. Chito’s Red Tacos comes next for street tacos, the more casual pick on the list. Myka Greek in the Brickell neighborhood gets a nod for a sweet treat, and Moxies USA’s Miami location closes out the guide as the spot for drinks.

The four picks span a real range. Fancy grilled cheese sits alongside street tacos. There’s a Greek dessert stop in Brickell and a cocktail bar. It’s a practical spread for visitors trying to eat well between matches.

Serena Williams has real roots in South Florida. She’s lived there and raised her family in the area. She’s called the city home for years, so the guide reads like a genuine local recommendation rather than a sponsored checklist.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is giving Miami one of its biggest summers in recent memory. The city is hosting matches at Hard Rock Stadium, drawing massive international crowds throughout July. Local restaurants are welcoming the extra foot traffic. Getting a nod from Serena, spread through Airbnb’s platform, is a meaningful boost for any of the spots on her list.

The Airbnb collaboration fits naturally into the company’s ongoing focus on experience-based travel. Airbnb has worked with athletes and entertainers in recent years to spotlight neighborhood gems. Serena’s guide fits that approach, pointing to local spots over chains or tourist standbys.

Life since leaving professional tennis in 2022 has kept her busy. She’s grown her venture capital work and expanded her fashion brand. She and husband Alexis Ohanian also welcomed a second daughter. She’s spoken candidly about life after decades as an athlete. Her presence across business and culture has stayed strong.

The Airbnb guide gives World Cup visitors a solid starting point for Miami’s food scene. Grilled cheese with caviar at Chevré, street tacos at Chito’s, something sweet at Myka Greek in Brickell, and drinks at Moxies. Serena Williams rarely steers people wrong.

Maluma posted a short Spanish-language message on Instagram Monday declaring his love for Colombia. The post drew more than 666,000 likes.

The Colombian reggaeton star’s caption read: “La tierrita que me quiere, la tierrita que yo más amo,” paired with Colombia’s flag emoji and the rallying cry “VAMOS COLOMBIA!” In English, that translates to “The little land that loves me, the little land that I love the most. GO COLOMBIA!”

The phrasing is specific. “Tierrita” is a Colombian diminutive of “tierra,” meaning “land” or “earth.” The “-ita” suffix adds warmth, turning a simple word into an expression of personal belonging. Colombian Spanish is full of these diminutive forms, used as terms of endearment. That kind of wording doesn’t usually come from a PR team.

Maluma, born Juan Luis Londoño Arias in Medellín in 1994, has spent the last decade building one of Latin music’s most recognizable careers. He’s worked with Marc Anthony, Madonna, and J Balvin. His catalog moves through reggaeton, pop, and trap. He’s headlined arenas across Europe and the Americas.

Colombia has produced a wave of globally recognized Latin artists in recent years. Shakira, J Balvin, and Karol G all come from the country. All three have been publicly outspoken about their Colombian roots. Colombian acts have become some of the most-streamed in Latin music over the past decade. Maluma fits squarely in that group.

His reach has extended beyond music. He starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in the 2022 romantic comedy “Marry Me.” It was among the more visible Hollywood moves made by a Latin music artist in recent years. His 2023 album “Don Juan” continued that international push, supported by an extensive global tour.

Maluma’s World Cup history gives Monday’s message added context. In 2018, he released “Colors,” the official Coca-Cola anthem for the Russia tournament. He was back in 2022 as a featured performer at the Qatar World Cup. Showing up for Colombia at the 2026 edition fits the pattern.

The 2026 tournament is being co-hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It’s the first World Cup to feature 48 teams. Colombia’s national team is among the competing squads generating attention throughout the competition. Maluma’s caption lands as both a personal declaration and a public rallying call from one of the country’s most globally recognized names.

The 666,000-plus likes reflect real movement. Maluma’s Instagram following runs into the tens of millions. For a two-line caption, that response was strong. The World Cup timing and the warmth of the language drove most of it.

Maluma has been partly based in Miami in recent years, but he’s consistently maintained a public connection to Colombia. Colombian media regularly covers him as a national figure, not just an export.

A sentence and a cheer. The likes came fast.

SZA opened up on Instagram about the creative slump she fell into after SOS – and how Steve Lacy snapped her out of it.

The R&B superstar posted a candid message crediting the Compton-raised multi-instrumentalist for reviving her spark. That revival produced “IS IT COOL OUT NOW,” their collab track on Steve Lacy‘s upcoming project.

“After SOS, Lana and tour I was feeling weird,” SZA wrote. “Nothing inspired me.”

That’s a real admission from someone who just wrapped one of the biggest album cycles in recent R&B history. SOS dropped in December 2022 and spent close to 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. It’s one of the best-selling R&B records in years. Running that whole campaign – the press, the promos, the touring – takes everything out of you. Feeling flat on the other side is completely understandable.

Enter a mutual friend named Michael. He linked SZA up with Steve Lacy and apparently changed the whole trajectory.

Lacy pulled up with what SZA called “a CRAZY pack of beats,” and something clicked immediately. She didn’t take the beats home to sit on them. She recorded right there, in front of him.

The music wasn’t the only thing that hit, though. Being around Steve Lacy himself – his voice, his laugh, his whole vibe – is what SZA says actually brought her back creatively.

“Being around Steve, experiencing the deep raw resonance of his voice, his laughter, his Spicy Aries Venus: literally revived me,” she wrote.

Then Lacy played her demos from his upcoming album. SZA cried.

Not politely moved. Cried. That’s the kind of creative energy that changes the temperature of a session. SZA clearly wasn’t going through the motions on this feature. She was genuinely locked in.

“I really admire his energy,” she added. “So honored to be a tiny part of this GORGEOUS project by this gorgeous human.”

Steve Lacy’s got the credentials to earn that kind of respect. His 2022 single “Bad Habit” hit number one on the Hot 100 and introduced his sound to a massive new audience. Before that, he’d already built real credibility working with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean. His sound sits at the crossroads of funk, soul, and indie-rock. That effortless quality clearly showed up in the room with SZA.

“IS IT COOL OUT NOW” is out now as part of Lacy’s upcoming project. SZA left no ambiguity for anyone dragging their feet: “If u haven’t listened to our song yet i hate you,” she posted. The emoji she added made it clear she was kidding around. Mostly.

The Instagram post has over 544,000 likes. The people are tuned in.

This whole thing is a reminder that creative blocks don’t discriminate. Even artists putting up Billboard 200 numbers can hit a wall. Sometimes the move is letting the right producer walk in the room with the right pack. Steve Lacy walked in. “IS IT COOL OUT NOW” is the result.

Brittany Lower posted a collection of beach vacation photos on Instagram this week, all tied together by a warm orange color theme.

The influencer captioned the set with a casual and self-aware note. “had to post a little something in the orange,” she wrote. Then she gave followers a gentle heads-up. “idk when I’ll be done posting beach things sorry in advance,” Brittany continued, adding “but something in the orange tells me we’re not done.”

It’s a sweet little promise. She’s not building to some grand finale or teasing a big reveal. She’s on vacation, she’s happy, and she’s bringing her followers along one photo at a time.

The orange theme runs through the whole set. Sunsets, ocean shots, flowers, and a shell all carry that same warm, golden-hour glow. It feels cohesive without being forced, like a color that showed up naturally and matched everything around it.

Orange has been having a quiet moment in lifestyle and travel content lately. It reads as warm and inviting rather than loud. It photographs beautifully next to blue water and white sand. Brittany seems to be leaning into that in the most effortless way. The palette fits the moment, and it shows.

The caption closes with a cluster of emojis: waves, a sun, a window, a shell, and a flower. They round out the sensory picture the photos already carry. It’s breezy and a little whimsical. That suits the relaxed, sun-drenched feel of the whole post.

What’s refreshing here is the pacing. Brittany isn’t rushing through her vacation to package it all up at once. She’s still in it, still shooting, and happy to keep sharing. The trip isn’t over yet.

That kind of unhurried rollout feels more genuine than a tightly edited recap. Posting in the moment has a way of keeping things honest.

For her followers, it’s a nice thing to look forward to. She offered a pre-emptive apology in the caption, but the tone makes it clear she isn’t too worried. The beach is calling, and the orange is working.

That’s the thing about vacation content done right. It doesn’t need a dramatic hook or a storyline. A good color theme and a sunny attitude can make someone’s scroll feel a little warmer. Right now, Brittany Lower has both.

She’s still out there. The photos are still coming. That warm orange glow is holding strong, and the rest of the series is worth the wait.
